Under The Abbey Stand

Under The Abbey Stand continue their much loved and VERY unofficial Hall of Fame, looking back on some of our favourite players ever to grace the Abbey turf in the amber and black. This week it's King of the Abbey Paul Wanless, as Jordan Worland, Owen Kiernan and Thom Dobbin discuss whether they did enough during their time at United to gain entry into the hallowed UTAS Hall of Fame.

FEATURING an exclusive interview with Wanny himself.

Excuse the terrible pun; Jordan Worland, Tom Walker and Owen Kiernan put on their United hats, scarves and gloves to discuss our recent games against Colchester, Southend & Bradford, the departures of Harry Darling and Andrew Dallas and whether or not Rob Newman's 2005/06 team were any good.

The U's welcome in 2021 with two wins on the bounce, putting the UTAS boys and their negative ways to shame. Jordan Worland, Tom Walker and Owen Kiernan spend most of this talking about Wessi's wonders, but there's also time for some Adam May, January transfers, defence analysis, and the impenetrable fog against Harrogate. It's not to be mist...

We've already won this league. By A LOT.

Stand-in host Julian Roberts put UTAS regulars Jordan Worland, Owen Kiernan, and Tom Walker through their paces, in a week where United did their part by defeating fat ginger tyrants all over the world by putting Paul Scholes' Salford City to the sword on Tuesday night. The pod discussed our outstanding league form, our flat FA Cup defeat, Idris El Mizouni, Andy Dallas, and all your Twitter questions.

In the first of our new shorter, bitesize pods, we look over United's 2-1 victory over league leaders Newport. Most of the chat is about Wes Hoolahan, but obviously we also take in a wonderful team performance, the monsoon conditions, the sublime commemorative shirt, and Ol' McMullin working his charm as United  start their march up the football league.

We'll have a full-length pod next week for your listening pleasure. Give us a follow on Twitter and Instagram, and drop us any questions or nice words if you feel like it:
