In this episode of Under the Influence, the boys are joined via Discord call by Lavado! Lavado is an artist/musician that has come to know Jesus as His personal savior and is now creating content online that glorifies God. God continues to use Lavado to make music but the way that Jerry came to be aware of him was through his street evangelism videos on Youtube. Hear about how He came to know Jesus, what really matters to him in his life now and how he deals with the struggles in his ministry. Huge shoutout and thanks to Lavado for giving the show his time and hanging out with the guys. Hope you enjoy and are blessed by the conversation!

This week, we jump straight into a long-overdue Discord meme review and even settle once and for all whether Skyrim really is the ultimate RPG. From there we tackle the surprising journey of longtime atheist creator Carl “Sargon of Akkad” Benjamin. A chance encounter with C.S. Lewis’s writings has moved him from dismissing Christianity outright to embracing agnosticism and rethinking his own family’s faith traditions. Along the way we share why our personal testimonies remain the most compelling witness in an age of online media, and challenge you to join us in using digital platforms to make a real difference. Hit play and let’s get into it.

Byron’s back with the squad! As we get to hang out with Byron once again, we bust out a surprise buddy-cop “Super Fight”. Tune in for heartwarming stories, Nat-Geo worthy animal encounters, and the faith lessons he brought home.

Then we get real, discussing a remarkable Gen Z comeback in church attendance, unpacking Bible-buying trends, and hearing how Joe Rogan went from being a skeptic to regular pew-sitter. Plus, Christian apologist John Lennox reframes the “problem of evil,” and we discuss how to share hope in a changing culture.

This week, we finally address the big question: Where is Byron? We give a full update on his journey through physical therapy school, his mission trip to Uganda, and the real reason he’s been missing all season.

Then, we’re joined by a very special guest, Richard, a beloved member of the Christian Influence community. From his hilarious jokes to his incredible testimony, Richard shares how he found the podcast, connected through Discord, and became an integral part of our online fellowship. Stick around for stories of long-distance love, Age of Empires nostalgia, and the power of Christian community on the internet.

In this episode of Under The Influence expect multiple nostalgia driven segments harkening back to the former days of the show! The boys revisit an old segment and play a round of SuperFight! Their battle gets crazy and takes a surprising turn with Jaret's lucky card pull. After that they hear an impressive tale of Jaret's "on the job scuffles" and the aftermath of a shoplifting. But most importantly, they address a viewer's question from the Discord and discuss what Christian accountability looks like practically. We hope the episode edifies you, enjoy!

In this episode, Levi and Jerry are joined by their longtime friend and fellow WVCS alumni, Carson Pemble. Carson serves on the board for Christian Influence and has a unique perspective when it comes to the mission and vision of the ministry. In this episode the boys welcome Shibbs onto the show to discuss the official UTI Season 5 weight loss competition, Levi & Jerry's recent STUCO trip and to respond to the myriad of negative comments episode 7 received. In episode 7 Jerry and Levi discussed Rhett & Link's decision to walk away from Christianity and the ways that has impacted their lives. After that episode released, UTI got more traction than it typically does and the show received a fair amount of backlash and criticism. The cast do their best to respond to that criticism in a loving and satisfying way for all those involved. Enjoy!
