Under The Influence

In this episode, join Levi and Jerry as they catch-up after important recent events in their lives, Jaret Brown's baptism and the NWBC Youth Pastor Conference. Jerry recounts the story, struggle and impact behind attending a conference designed to encourage and equip local youth pastors. But more importantly how God used that and his friend Jaret's baptism to teach him an important lesson. Levi had the honor of not only attending the baptism but walked Jaret out into the Pacific for him to be baptized. Finally, join the boys as they stroll through memory lane and watch an old short film that Levi, Jude and Jerry made 7 years ago. Enjoy!

In this episode Levi and Jerry sit down for a long one... Listen as they spend a bit of time on some ridiculous Sci-Fi dreams and wishes for the future, bring a UTI podcast segment up from the grave and finish up with a lengthy discussion around the sanctification of George Janko. In the reaction clip this week they see as George Janko is convicted about his swearing as a Christian and exemplifies a repentant heart, submits to God's will, and changes. This should serve as an example to all believers as what to do when confronted by fellow believers about sin in your life. Enjoy!

In this episode, Levi and Jerry are joined by their long time friend and fellow D&D player, Jaret Brown. Jaret is someone they met when working at the ballpark in high school and has been a part of their lives ever since. Hear how God prompted them to bring Jaret into their friend group for his good early on and eventually lead them to living together and having extremely tough conversations. Jaret is recently more devoted to God than he has ever been and his testimony of how God has brought him to where he is today is a gripping and fascinating one.

In this episode the boys are back and watch together an epic anime interpretation of the Biblical "I AM" statements and have a discussion surrounding the 2nd commandment. What does a graven image mean and consist of? What sorts of things in our lives are we in need of cutting out in order to better glorify God? We hope this discussion is thought provoking for you, we may not answer these questions adequately or at all but hope to discuss them further. Enjoy!

In this episode, join Levi, Jerry & Byron as they welcome their special guest Kaden Quinones to the show! Kaden is a brother in Christ, serves in moderation for Christian Influence and serves at Creekside Bible Church in media. Kaden's testimony sheds a great light on the fact that a life of isolation and selfish ambition only leads to unfulfillment and depression. God uses service, among other things, to right our relationship with Him and draw us out of the pit. Enjoy!
