In this mini-episode I share a message I channeled about our first snow falling.

There is a fire in your heart that longs for quiet nights, for endless blankets, and peace, and hibernation.

Why do you deny her?

Why do you hide her?

Let yourself rest like the garden.

Put productivity away. Nest into the burrow.

Allow yourself a calm peace, a slow day, a deep sleep.

For it is in these moments of quiet peace that we can reach you best. When the mind is calm, Spirit can more easily be received.

So take care in the peace. For it is divine.

Greetings friends,

Lately I’ve developed a slight infatuation with bees. You see, over the summer as the marigold patch in the front of my house got bigger so did my company of bees. My girls and I welcomed their presence while they collected pollen from the bright orange flowers that surrounded my stoop. Sometimes the bees would fall asleep in the blooms, sometimes they’d land on me to say hello, and towards the end of the fall when it got colder elder bees would come to my patch of marigolds to pass away.

Since the transition of the season I feel like I’ve been getting more and more signs with bees on them. And when I get a reoccurring sign, I feel compelled to follow the bread crumbs and see where it leads me. So I was delighted when friend-of-the-podcast, Chris DeRosa introduced me to Sarah Red-Laird, the founder and co-director of the Bee Renerative.

Sarah knows everything about bees- from beekeeping, to their medieval queen behavior, to spiritual folklore, and how to our everyday food choices effect the hive. I had an incredible discussion with her and can’t wait to tell my husband what she said about getting a bee hive!

This meditation was inspired by our need to reconnect with nature. Find yourself a quiet, calm place to listen. Close your eyes, open your heart and see what comes up. If you feel inspired, jot down some ideas of thoughts that come through after the meditation.

UTMG Reflection: As we go through our days we pass by nature without a second glance. We are surrounded by grass, trees, flowers, plants, squirrels and birds that are part of the fabric of our daily life. So today, instead of passing them without a second glance say “hi” to all the creatures you see. How does it feel to take notice of the beings around you?

Greetings Magick Seekers- We have a special treat! Today on ‘Under the Moon Gate’ I’m so honored to welcome one of my favorite spiritual influencers, the one and only Kara Daniels. Kara started her spiritual journey as an animal communicator then her guides led her to further develop her gifts by learning to connect with trees and land healing.

She’s also an educator with her own podcast where she shares all the mystical and magical happenings in her world called Deep Root Connections.

During our conversation Kara and I talk about the logistics of being a spiritual creative while also being a “normal” member of society. We talk about how coming out of the broom closet changes friendships and relationships, and even dip a toe into the elemental world of faeries and elves.
