Under Two Capes

In this sequel video, Jared and Nick From Phoenix Press lays out how they would de-age Jon Kent to make him the 10 year old ball of fun fans grew to love in DC Rebirth. They even go so far as formulate a story to get the young Jon back and still retain the current Jon Kent.  In other words, it's a story where we can keep both Jons.

Jon Kent has huge potential as a character, and this story could be an interesting way to both respect the new fans of Jon from the Son OF Kal-El series and the fans of the Super Sons.

Email below your thoughts. How would you de-age Jon Kent? IS this needed? What story would you use?

This week, Jared and Nick From the Phoenix Press discuss possible scenarios for what Zaslav will do with the DC Comic book division. They discuss licensing out the comic books, scaling down the number of books, which DC books they would want to take over if they were in charge, and more. They also discuss the effect Zaslav's strategy is having on the DCEU, Why the Deadpool movies are amazing, and so much more!

Let's hope that Zaslav does not axe the entire company and simply reforms the DC company to better represent the brand of DC as well as their individual characters.

Email below your thoughts. What is the best option available to Zaslav? What book would you want to write for DC?

This week, Jared, Nick From Phoenix Press, and Teladia Plays discuss the apparent cancelation of the Young Justice Animated series as well as Zaslav's purge of other animated content. They also discuss the Rock's apparent overestimation of the popularity of Black Adam and the likely hood that the Black Adam Movie will perform below expectations.

Zaslav seems to be cleaning out DC to focus more on the Trinity instead of side characters for right now as he restores the DC brand to its former glory.

What do you think? Was Zaslav right to cancel Young Justice? What other series do you think are next? Which animated project do you want canceled?

This week, Jared reacts to the news of Zaslav's 10 year plan for DC entertainment, the creation of DC studios and other news surrounding Zaslav's plans for the DC Brand. Also, Jared reviews the recently released Prey movie (he really liked it!!).

This was such a fun episode to record. It is such a great time to be a DC fan since there is ample opportunity to speculate as to the future of the DC brand, arguably the best comic brand of all time. Additionally, it was refreshing to see a movie do something original with the Predator franchise.

Email below your thoughts. What do you think Zaslav's plan is? Do you think he could be going toward a reboot of the DCEU? Did you enjoy the Prey movie? What is your favorite Predator movie?

This week, Jared welcomes Mohammed from MOBEAST gaming back to the show to discuss the potential of a Superman video game, the Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights games, the possibility that the Wonder Woman game will be released, and so much more.

It was a pleasure to have Mohammed back on the show to discuss video games. There is so much potential with DC characters for epic games. DC needs to take advantage of this to catch up with Marvel's dominance in the video game market.

This week, Jared outlines the romantic history of the Man of Steel. He talks about Wonder Woman, Maxima, Lois Lane, and others as he traces the historical pairings for Superman since his publication. Also, he discusses why Superman and Wonder Woman are the best paring and how interesting it would be if Clark entered into a relationship with Supervillains such as Lashina and Volcana.

Thanks to Raul Ryan for suggesting this topic. Superman is one of the characters that DC has paired with a variety of women but have ultimately brought him back to Lois. This is do to a vocal minority who believe Clark must always be with Lois and not with anyone else (and yet they complain that DC never does anything new with Superman).

Email below your favorite pairing. Who do you think DC should pair Superman with next?

This week, Jared reviews the latest entry into the MCU saga, Thor: Love and Thunder. Wow, this was a very meh movie. Jared discusses the plot, characters, contradictions, and blatant issues with this movie. He discusses the movies overuse of comedy, the issue with Jane Foster Thor, and why Taika Waititi should never direct another Thor movie, ever.

So this was easily the worst of the Thor movies. Not that it was irredeemable, but when compared to the others, it does not hold up. Could this indicate that the MCU is fading away?

Also, they outline their favorite SnyderVerse moments and the likelihood that the Verse will be restored.

It was a pleasure to have Hanna on the show and hear her opinions on the Superhero movie genre. We hope to have her back on the show real soon.
