Ransomware attacks occurred over the 4th of July weekend that affected hundreds of American companies and other companies aroudn the world. 

Basel III sets a new standard for gold assets in the banking world.  The BIS releases its annual report with a section dedicated to CBDCs.  The conservatorship of Britney Spears gives us a glimpse of the entertainment industry. 

Some recent XRP news dropped over the weekend, while UK's FCA banned Binance.  The US conducted air strikes in Syria against Iran-backed militia facilities. 

The creator of anti virus software, John McAfee, was found dead in his jail cell a few hours after his U.S. extradition was approved.  Crypto bills were passed on the House floor but this is not the first time that this has happened.
