Understanding the Bible

This episode is quite the opposite of what we found in the book of Job. Job's "friends" were not faithful to God or to Job and in fact they turned against him and proved that they were not true friends in the end.

This story is about 4 friends who went to great effort to help a friend in need. So much so, that they tore apart the roof of someone's house. You have to hear this story today!

(Also starring my 9 year old daughter Eve - she tells a great story!)

Job suffered, and his friends attacked him for it. They revealed their character by choosing to attack Job without evidence.

The Proper Christian response/take away

1. Suffering is not always the result of sin

2. Maintain your integrity before God - people will not know or speak the truth

3. Cry out to God for answers

4. Never lose faith in God

5. Wisdom, knowledge, and ultimate justice will come from God

"In all this, Job sinned not".

Happy Independence Day! I hope you get to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States of America with lots of friends, family, joy, and fireworks! (Or guns and blowing things up, whatever floats your boat!)

America was founded because of the courage of young men in their 20's and 30's and 40's who believed in the creator God of the Bible and the principles of freedom found in it.

Listen to this episode today to remember and celebrate the liberty we have in Christ and the freedom our brave men and women in uniform have fought for, since 1776!

If you think the Bible isn't interesting, you have to listen to this episode. It's got armies, talking animals, angels, magic, sacrifice, justice and a whole lot more!

Some of the highlights:

What is an actual curse according to the Bible?

Are cusswords the same as cursing?

Does God actually speak audibly to non believers?

Israel was a pretty big deal back in the Old Testament, over 3000 years ago and the proof is in the names, the kings, the countries, the cities, and historical records of all the things they did.

Jobs response to his friends was multi-faceted:

1. He rebuked their lies

2. He maintained his innocents

3. He maintained his faith in God

4. He called them out for being wicked and treating him like an enemy.

Sometimes those who profess to be "people of God" or friends, are not really good people. Jesus said, "you shall know them by their fruits". Jesus called people out for being fake to.

Don't allow yourself to be gaslit. Stand up for yourself. Turn to God when you are going through horrible things.

Listen today for some encouragement, especially if you are going through a tough time. "There is nothing new under the sun".- Ecclesiastes

What does the Bible say? How do we know it is accurate? How do we know it is the actual words that God had written down and not a poor copy from a monk with an agenda 500 years after Jesus?

Let me give you some actual evidence, historically proven facts, and indisputable reality about the Bible that we read today. Listen today and gain some confidence in your faith.

We don't have to be a doubting Thomas when Jesus is showing us the proof right in front of our eyes.

The story of Job starts with unfairness, danger, disaster, and despair. But it doesn't end there. God always has a purpose and there is much wisdom to be learned from Job's story.

This is the story of Job's Friends and what they thought of him and the conversations they had with Job during the death of his children and his loneliness and depression.

"In all this, Job sinned not." - How are we supposed to respond when disaster strikes and it appears that all is lost?

Immigrants or Invaders?

Deportation or Citizenship?

Traitors to the country or caring socialists?

Assimilation or Culture bearers?

You might be surprised what the Bible says about immigration. This episode started out as just a reading of the book of Numbers, but something told me that I needed to talk about these verses a little more.

I hope this makes you re-evaluate your stance on politics and immigration and I hope you know that God wants you to help protect your country, your freedom, and the future for your children.

There is evidence for God in History. This episode goes into detail on the nation of Israel, Palestine (a region of land that has referred to the land of the Jews for almost 2000 years), and the historical evidence for Jesus.

There is way too much evidence to go into it all, but suffice it to say, that Jesus is the absolute MOST provable historical figure in human history.

Listen to this series today and learn how to be absolutely secure in your faith! Know that FAITH in Jesus can be a choice to believe BECAUSE of all the evidence for God!
