Three things you need to understand about this day; history, the Christians obligation to stand for what is right, and celebrations are good for the soul.
Did you know that most of our founding fathers were young? Some were even 18 years old. (By the way, I incorrectly stated that James Madison was the oldest. He was not).
In your celebrations, don't forget to remember the sacrifice and dedication of these young men who were willing to DIE to stand for what was right....freedom and justice for all! (yes, despite the lying media, schools, and government; our founding fathers intended to abolish slavery and to provide freedom for ALL that wished to become citizens in the new nation).
I deliberately did NOT work and publish this on the 4th of July, so you are getting it a week late. I hope you had a wonderful Independence Day!
In the Year of our Lord 2022, the sixth month, the 24th day, the first step in ending the Holocaust against the unborn was taken. The Supreme Court of the United States of America overturned the initial Roe Vs. Wade decision that was based on so many lies.
Indeed modern science proved, less than a decade after the momentous decision in 1973, that the decision to uphold abortions as constitutional was absolutely wrong. We made so many advances in science to prove the inhumanity of killing an unborn child that it is simply EVIL to pretend that it was not murder. Not to mention the basic argument from humanity that any logical person could see, ending a pregnancy was wrong.
The Bible makes it clear with so many stories in the old and the new Testament that babies in the womb are human children and that is all the argument we need to stand up and oppose abortion.
Pride month is everywhere from T.V. to schools, to ads, to stores and bakeries promoting the rainbow as a celebration of sexual perversion. Christians need to stand up and reclaim the rainbow as God's promise NOT as something sinful. We have an obligation to call out sin and protect children but we are not to FIX people's sin before they can get saved. Jesus Christ came to save sinners not perfect people. That means that they need to hear the Gospel and have faith in Jesus Christ. That is all. They do not need to fix their sin before they can be saved. AFTER they have accepted Jesus is when they need to work becoming more like Christ.
This podcast deals very candidly with the issues slapping us in the face everywhere we go. You need to listen to this and learn what the Bible says about how to deal with it.
With inflation skyrocketing and people struggling to live paycheck to paycheck, it is astonishing to realize that most people do not know what the Bible has to say about money. Did you know that there are over 2000 verses about money in the Bible?
This episode gives a small glimpse into the main principles about money that the Bible teaches. At the end of this podcast I give a few simple steps that people can use to obtain financial freedom and to use their money wisely as God teaches. No matter your income, there are some steps you can take right now to help yourself and your family.
Please listen to this very important topic that Jesus himself took the time to talk about.
The Sons of God in Genesis 6 refers to angels and the offspring that they had gave rise to all kinds of myths and legends of gods and powerful creatures.
This is not the only verse that talks about this and the consequences of their actions. This episode explains the verses in the New Testament and the reasons why it will be important to know of these things in the End Times.
Christians have a duty to prepare for the future and we must also learn from the past.
This is a very interesting and fun topic. As always, I welcome comments and questions.
With the rash of school shootings across our nation over the last decade (interesting how it's only the last decade or so while gun laws have become MORE restrictive) and the most recent in Uvalde, TX I thought it was important to address this.
Believe it or not, the Bible does give some very explicit instructions on how to deal with issues like this. No, the Bible doesn't mention shootings or even schools, but it does give us a couple of things that we as Christians SHOULD do in these situations.
Make sure to listen to the end for some very important truths about guns and the school shootings that many pastors will probably not openly admit.
Are we born with a Sin Nature? What does it do to us? Aren't humans "basically good"? Don't we have a "spark of divinity in us" because we were created in God's image?
Today's episode explores the darker nature of humanity and explains what that means for our life and our future after we die.
The good news, as always, is that Jesus Christ is the answer and is offering to save us.
Listen to the end and find out one of the biggest lies that Satan has used to deceive the world.
Please listen to part one, ep. 23. This is the conclusion.
The Bible promises that Jesus Christ can give you a "peace that passes all understanding". His peace is different from the world in that it can come at all times, even during troublesome or lonely times.
This episode gives some very practical things that you can do to help you find that peace. Christians have many promises in the BIble and finding peace in the midst of chaos is truly a gift. No matter what happens in life, our peace and joy cannot be taken from us because it does not come from the world. We are able to find that in Christ.
How do you find peace during troubled times?
The Bible says that you can find peace "that passes all understanding". What is this peace all about? How can we possibly be at peace when our lives are falling apart?
It's not easy, but it is possible.
Please listen to this episode and part 2 and feel free to send me questions at [email protected].
"Fear God, and keep His commandments" the Bible says. People are always angry at God for "casting people into Hell". Many times you will hear people say that "the Bible has too many rules" or that "God will punish you for that". There is a common misconception that "to fear God" means that we should always be looking over our shoulder because God is just waiting for us to mess up so that he can "get us".
I've recently heard someone say, "oh no, I couldn't go to church, I would burst into flames."
Well, I've got GOOD NEWS! This concept of God that people have is very wrong. We do NOT need to have this type of fear of God. Let's see what the Bible says about it....
