Understanding the Bible

Moses saw God, or at least his back as he was walking away, and Moses' face shined so bright that people couldn't be around him and he had to wear a veil. I can see why the Bible says that:

Revelation 21: 23

"And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

This episode gets into the sacrificial system that God instituted for the Israelites and why it was so important. The miracle here is the almighty God of the Universe putting into writing a permanent record of all that He requires for you to be right with Him and be able to spend eternity with Him.

Listen to this to understand the awesome miracle and prophecy that is wrapped up in this!

In hindsight we can see the fulfillment of God's promises and prophecies. Journey with me through Exodus and try to see the new nation's perspective as they witnessed the power of God first hand and learned His laws for the first time!

Miracle: a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.

Science is natural, physical, dealing with real matter and laws of nature. The divine is SUPERnatural which literally means above the natural. Miracles cannot be explained by natural laws because miracles are done by one who is above the natural order of things.

Listen to this episode today to learn more and hear about some of the miracles that the Bible records for us.

Thank God for the Jewish nation and for the forefathers of our faith; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Moses who chose to believe God!

Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
