Are they even available for today, or did they end in the first century?!(we'll dive into that particular debate on the next episode) But for now, we're going to focus on what the bible has to teach us about their purpose and proper use in the gathering of the called out ones.

From Pentecostal to Presbyterian, This topic never fails to insight lively debates amongst christians from all tribes and tongues.(see what i did there?) "Does it happen to all christians at salvation or is it a subsequent experience? Come to think of it... What even is it??"

This discussion may spark questions, curiosity, or even concerns...But ultimately, our aim is to drive you to the scriptures. Let's get uncomfortable!

Christians all over the world are "recovering" from a week of intense focus on the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Pastors have saved all their best material for this sermon. Christians have avoided evangelism all year long, knowing they might convince their unsaved friends to show up this one day and the preacher would pick up their slack from the pulpit. But what if everyday is resurrection Sunday? And what if the sunday morning gathering of the "called out ones" is actually a time for Christians to gather and glorify God in Christ together? And what if evangelism is every believer's calling and responsibility outside the walls of the gathering? Do you have the ability to articulate the gospel when the opportunity comes? If you truly study the scriptures you will inevitably come to texts that force you to ask tough questions, and those questions often have tough answers.
