In this raw and unedited episode, I’m sharing a deeply personal reflection on conflict, closure, and the true cost of avoidance. It’s easy to scroll past social media advice telling us to "protect our peace" or avoid "low-vibe" people, but are we just using these phrases as a bypass to avoid uncomfortable conversations?

For three years, I silently carried the weight of a severed friendship that ended without face t face, full circle moment. Holding onto that unsaid energy left me in a place of deep self-doubt forcing me to question how I build trust and connection, the very foundation of my work as a coach.

In this episode, I share how I reframed this pain through the lens of the Maori creation story of Ranginui and Papatūānuku, finding peace in the realisation that some connections must be severed to let the light in. This is an honest look at what it means to stay in your integrity, move past "tit-for-tat" thinking, and reclaim your Mana in navigating beginnings, middles and endings in relationships.

I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on my work, and specifically, the results my clients are getting.

For a while, I’ve offered Human Design Readings as a standalone service. I love the system, it’s powerful. But I’ve noticed a recurring pattern: even when the insights are powerful, the sheer volume of information can leave clients feeling overwhelmed or stuck in "analysis paralysis" after our time together.

Nau mai haeremai sis!

The first episode of this Talkin Story series. Lately it has been calling me to share more stories. Everyone has a story and when we choose to have the courage to stand upon part of our story and share it, it becomes medicine for another. Each fortnight at least I want to Talk Story with someone I have had the pleasure of speaking with in my life, and guiding them to share their story here with you all.

A couple of weeks back I jammed with the sis Charde Heremaia, who is a self built bad ass comedian of 'Memoirs of a Maori'. I was called to jam and open this chapter of Real Talk 1:1 with her because I knew we would just be ourselves and that is the goal of having these jam sessions - to inspire women to BE her unapologetic bad ass self, however that looks, because the REAL DEAL can never be imitated, duplicated or questioned.

We speak about all the things because were literally getting to know each other haha.
