Story Transcript:

Cy: Ganol haf oedd hi, a heulwen yn cuddio tu ôl i gwmwl mawr llwyd.
En: It was the middle of summer, with the sunshine hiding behind a large gray cloud.

Cy: Roedd Carys a Gareth yn cerdded ar strydoedd bychan Tyddewi, gyda dim ond awgrym o haul drwy'r tywydd dŵrlas.
En: Carys and Gareth were walking through the small streets of Tyddewi, with only a hint of sun through the dusky weather.

Cy: “Dw i'n credu bydd hi'n bwrw glaw cyn hir,” meddai Carys, gan edrych i’r nefoedd.
En: “I think it will rain soon,” said Carys, looking up to the heavens.

Cy: Roedd Gareth, gyda ei lygaid yn edrych am y porth nesaf, yn ysu i weld Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi o'r tu mewn.
En: Gareth, his eyes searching for the next doorway, was eager to see Eglwys Gadeiriol Tyddewi from the inside.

Cy: Roedd ganddo gariad cudd am bensaernïaeth sydd bob amser wedi ei gymell i chwilio am adeiladau hanesyddol.
En: He had a secret love for architecture that had always driven him to seek out historical buildings.

Cy: Pan ddaeth y glaw, roedd fel pe byddai rhywun wedi agor faucet y nefoedd.
En: When the rain came, it was as if someone had turned on a faucet in the heavens.

Cy: Gyda'r defnynnau yn cyffwrdd eu hwynebau, dihangodd Gareth a Carys i mewn i goridor trwchus eglwys gadeiriol y sobor.
En: With the drops touching their faces, Gareth and Carys dashed inside the thick corridor of the grand cathedral.

Cy: O'r tu mewn, cawsant eu syfrdanu gan y styllod uchel a’r ffenestri lliw addurnedig.
En: Inside, they were stunned by the high rafters and the decorative stained glass windows.

Cy: Roedd golau meddal yn creu ceinder o liwiau ar lawr carreg.
En: Soft light created an elegance of colors on the stone floor.

Cy: “Cadwch yn dawel,” sibrydodd Gareth, er y curwch o wrthun teimlad o gyffro i weld yr eglwys.
En: “Stay quiet,” Gareth whispered, though his heart pounded with a strange thrill at seeing the cathedral.

Cy: Ond clywodd nhw hefyd sŵn pobl yn canu anghyfarwydd i'w clustiau.
En: But they also heard the unfamiliar sound of people singing, which was strange to their ears.

Cy: Ar ganol yr adeilad, roedd priodas yn mynd rhagddi.
En: In the middle of the building, a wedding was underway.

Cy: Prin sylweddolais Carys a Gareth eu bod wedi damwain i mewn i seremoni gysuro, gyda'r côr priodasol yn golchi drosodd uchel eu clod.
En: Carys and Gareth scarcely realized they had stumbled into a comforting ceremony, with the bridal choir washing over them with high praise.

Cy: “Rhaid gadael,” neidio Carys, ond cyn iddi gael cyfle, cyrhaeddodd llygaid y briodferch eu llygaid.
En: “We must leave,” urged Carys, but before she had the chance, she met the eyes of the bride.

Cy: Yn hytrach na bod yn grac, gwelodd y wên ar ei hwyneb.
En: Instead of being angry, the bride smiled at them.

Cy: “Ymunwch â ni, os gwelwch yn dda!” galwodd y briodferch.
En: “Join us, please!” the bride called out.

Cy: A geisiodd dimensiwn nag y troeon oedd Gareth eisiau gweld, yn enwedig pan ofynnodd iddi Carys ei hun i ganu.
En: And it opened a dimension Gareth wanted to see, especially when the bride asked Carys herself to sing.

Cy: “O, dw i ddim yn credu...” dechreuodd Carys, ond gyda hanogaeth y briodferch, cododd i fyny'r llwyfan a dechreuodd ganu cân hyfryd.
En: “Oh, I don't think...” Carys began, but with encouragement from the bride, she stepped up onto the stage and started to sing a beautiful song.

Cy: Roedd ei llais yn cyfuno'n berffaith â'r chwa o'r un fath â’r mae ffenestri lliw hardd.
En: Her voice blended perfectly with the harmonious blend of the gorgeous stained glass.

Cy: Wrth iddi ganu, cawsant eu cymeradwyo gan yr holl westeion.
En: As she sang, they were applauded by all the guests.

Cy: Cysgodd Gareth yn ei bryder wrth sylwi pa mor falch oedd ei gweldd yng nghanol y cyngerdd anhygoel hwn.
En: Gareth relaxed in his concern, noticing how proud he was of her amid this incredible concert.

Cy: Pan orffennodd, chwarddodd ei wên yn fwy disglair nag erioed.
En: When she finished, her smile was brighter than ever.

Cy: Roedd Carys wedi darganfod ei hyder newydd, a Gareth wedi sylweddoli bod fythiadau bywyd yn gallu cynnig prydferthwch annisgwyl.
En: Carys had discovered her new confidence, and Gareth realized that life’s twists can offer unexpected beauty.

Cy: Tapodd y glaw ar y waliau cerrig hynafol, ond siaradodd y pasg mor felys fel hanes hen eglwys o dan sain canu Carys.
En: The rain tapped on the ancient stone walls, but the sweet song spoke as if the old church's history was carried on the sound of Carys's song.

Cy: Roedd yr heddwch a chanu'r cor cynnes yn llenwi'r tŷ o sancteiddrwydd.
En: The peace and warm choir filled the house with sanctity.

Cy: Roedd menywod a dynion yn cyferbynnu yn eu lliw seremoniol, ac roedd pawb wedi mynd adref gyda chofion unigryw am y briodas hon.
En: Men and women contrasted in their ceremonial colors, and everyone went home with unique memories of this wedding.

Cy: Roedd Carys a Gareth wedi profiad datrys hyn drwy flwyddyn, gan adael eu harolwg yn syfrdanol ond wedi'i blannu'n dynn yng nghanol digwyddiadau nad oedd unrhyw un ohonyn nhw'n ei ddisgwyl.
En: Carys and Gareth had an experience that resolved through the year, leaving them astounded and firmly rooted in the middle of events they did not expect.
