Today we take one more look at Colossians 3:15:
"Let the king's peace be the deciding factor in your hearts; that's what you were called to, within the one body. And be thankful."
No matter how much practice we get with mindset and awareness, in this modern life we are most likely going to have to deal with people. And often, these people are quick to judge, give opinions without request, or even be flat out rude since they are not on our higher frequencies. That is not judgement, but rather fact.
When we can realize that our only true competition is against ourselves, we can learn to let the opinions, judgements, and beliefs of others that we don't align with roll off our backs.
And that is a very freeing experience.
When it comes to life and mindset, negotiation is not something that is often thought of. Yet, it is apart of our daily lives almost routinely. At home we have to negotiate with our loved ones and when it comes to work, we are negotiating all the time. And it's not just simply about job opportunities and money - it goes far deeper than that.
In this episode with Negotiation Coach and Speaker, Susie Tomenchok, we discuss her new book "The Everyday Art of Negotiation Without Manipulation," and how we can tackle the following perspectives in life:
- understanding our floor and ceiling
- how to ensure that both parties can see a "win / win."
- how to think about negotiation at home
- different personality types and learning your negotiation style
- how to keep a "service minded" attitude, but not get taken advantage of in negotiation

"Let the king's peace be the deciding factor in your hearts; that's what you were called to, within the one body. And be thankful."
Colossians 3:15
One of the best things about being human is our ability "to choose."
Even when life deals us a bad hand or throws us many curveballs, it is how we respond that matters.
Today we look at the perspective of "being with peace" and how that mindset keeps us grounded and balanced; no matter what life throws at us.
"For the body, indeed, is not one member, but many."
1st Corinthians 12:14
Though we are connected, we are each unique. We have the gift to improve not only ourselves, but the people that surround us in life.
What better way to live that to know that while you are improving yourself, you are also taking people along with you.
Today we look at our many differences and how to respect those positions while staying true to ourselves and keeping an open mind.
"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well."
Psalm 139:14
Let us not be influenced through the whims of society. When we discover our truest authentic selves, we get to write our own story over having it dictated to us from others.
We all have something special and unique to give to the world.
Today we take a look at what it really means to become your authentic self.
"What use will it be, otherwise, if you win the whole world but forfeit your true life? What will you give to get your life back?"
Matthew 16:26
The world is filled with ego and people that want to see you agree with them and live like them. Despite the many labels that society places upon us, we have the ability to choose how we see ourselves.
Today we take a look at the two most powerful words in the English language - "I am."
"Do not eat the bread of the stingy, do not desire their delicacies; for like a hair in the throat, so are they. Eat and drink they say to you; but they do not mean it."
Proverbs 23: 6-7
Chances are you've heard the phrase, "As a man thinks, so he becomes."
Today we discuss intent around giving and receiving. Becoming a person that gives without expecting back builds up your heart. The Universal loving consciousness then rewards you through your Karma and pureness of heart.
But be watchful of those that give with expectation - listen to your heart and you will know.
Are you done being the captive to doubt, despair, and fear? Perhaps you're wondering when it's your turn to experience happiness and joy. Do you experience anger or outrage due to your life situations?
All of us at one point or another in our lives feel discouragement, loneliness, or even depression and anxiety which can haunt our innermost thoughts.
Thankfully - there are answers to these life challenges and we can break free of the bondage that often feels like is shackled over us.
Today we speak with Mike Forrester - a life transformation coach that has been called to his walk of life and purpose through his own experiences. Psalm 96: 11-12
