This episode we discuss two movies based on the concept of The Most Dangerous Game. Jake once again is running down an Arnold movie, The Running Man, so of course more terrible impressions, would you expect anything less? And why do Jake and Sean keep bringing up Sega during Scott's rundown of The Condemned with Stone Cold Steve Austin?
First, don't be thrown off by the first few minutes where the discussion turns to Jake's unfortunate waiting game at a train track, hey it was Sean's idea. Then it's brief football talk, shitty roller coaster rides, some Oscar news and much more.
Music:
Disturbed - The Game
Egypt Central - Over and Under
Nickelback - Saving Me
Next time around, it's back to Tales From the Crypt, now onto the first 6 episodes of season 3.
Here it is, the first show of 2018. To start it off, we're still doing Christmas, for the very first episode of the Simpsons "Simpsons Roasting On an Open Fire," the classic episode of South Park "Mr Hankey The Christmas Poo" and Jake possibly destroys his vocal chords with impressions galore with the Metalocaylpse episode "Dethmas."
First of all, football talk with a long playoff drought being broken, and who do we want to win in the playoffs? Then some movies that are anticipated for the new year, Jake gives his top 5 and bottom five of the year, Scott only has a top 4, Sean decides to be the different one once again in that segment, and Jake talks about his new PS4 with the games Friday the 13th and Until Dawn.
Music in the episode
Mr Hankey The Christmas Poo
Of Mice and Men - Money
The Lonely Jew on Christmas
Dethklok - Cyborg Slayers
Kyle's Mom's a Bitch
Next time around, man is the most dangerous game, and we will talk some dangerous games with The Running Man with Shwarzenegger and The Condemned with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
We're back just a few days after Christmas, and you know what? We're still gonna talk some Christmas movies, specifically ones about monsters, with the classic 1984 Gremlins and the newer 2015 movie Krampus. First, the final fantasy football talk of the year with an unfortunate end, a fucked up news story that aligns perfectly with one of the movies, lots of Star Wars talk including a spoiler filled one about The Last Jedi (32:05 to 39:30 if you want to skip it).
Music
Of Mice and Men - Defy
The Ramones - Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)
The Animal In Me - Shouldn't Wait For the Holidays
And in two weeks (listen to the end for that explanation) we will continue with our planned final Christmas episode of the season. Going back to doing Christmas specials, this time of The Simpsons (The very first episode), South Park (Mr Hankey) and Metalocalypse.
Yipee Ki Yay motherfuckers! Don't think Die Hard 1 & 2 are Christmas movies? Well you're WRONG! And we will tell you why in this latest episode! First, things getting down to the wire in Fantasy, talks about the Buffalo-Indianapolis snow game, Jake has a major reaction to his news story, the Disaster Artist and more.
Music in this episode:
Bob & Tom - It's a Die Hard Christmas
Run DMC - Christmas in Hollis
Vaughn Monroe - Let It Snow
Guyz Nite - Die Hard
Next time we talk about a classic Christmas creature feature with Gremlins and a possible future classic Christmas creature feature with Krampus.
Outtkaes: The Bane mask returns
So it's December, time to revisit a Christmas classic, the 2003 Billy Bob Thorton film Bad Santa. At least after so much internet issues that almost kept the show from happening. And does Jake still give Scott shit about THAT scene in the movie? Hint: yes he does. Grab your copies and enjoy this podcast that might as well be a laugh track after a while.
Music is mostly dirty Christmas songs I pulled off of Youtube.
Well here we are, Christmas season! Time for some festive movies, and what better ones to start off with but ones about a killer snowman? Yes, we are talking about the B-movies Jack Frost 1 & 2, also discussing how old is Shannon Elizabeth in her first role ever where she gets fucked by a snowman. Also more football, stupid news and a little talk about the Infinity War trailer.
Craziest mix of music in this one:
Rodney Carrington - Who Put The Dick on the Snowman
A Very Metal Christmas - Frosty the Snowman
Nick Blojovian - I Hate Christmas
Frozen - Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
Up Butt Coconut
Next time it's Die Hard 1 & 2, cause they are Christmas movies dammit!
Outtakes: Did Sean watch the movies?
Action month wraps up with two movies based on Phillip K Dick novels. First up the classic mindbending Ridley Scott movie Blade Runner followed by The Movie That Has the Chick With 3 Tits aka Total Recall.
Music:
Vangelis - Blade Runner theme
Vangelis - Blade Runner Love Theme
Papa Roach - Last Resort
Austrian Death Machine - Screw You Benny
Next time around it's time for Christmas movies, the first episode on that agenda is the Jack Frost movies (the killer snowman, not the Michael Keaton one)
Outtakes: Is Jake more like George RR Martin or Jonah Hill? And is something burning in Jake's place?
We're back after a week off to bring you some Will Smith and Martin Lawrence action in Michael Bay's Bad Boys 1 and 2. First, who has a losing streak in fantasy, is Jake changing his pattern in Fucked Up New Stories, and a little talk on Justic League.
Music:
Inner Circle - Bad Boys
AC/DC - Thunderstruck (RIP Malcolm Young)
Steppenwolf - The Pusher
P Diddy with Nelly and Murphy Lee - Shake Ya Tailfeather
Next time around, a double feature of Phillip P Dick inspired movies, Blade Runner and Total Recall.
Action month begins with a doubleheader of one of the biggest action stars of the late 80s early 90s and the best according to one of your hosts. Do the others agree? Welllll, take a listen as we rundown Hard Target and Timecop, with some awesome villains in Lance Henriksen and Ron Silver. Also Jake's running theme in Fucked Up News stories continues, talks about the new Thor movie and more.
Music:
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Born on the Bayou
Pantera - Drag the Waters
Europe - The Final Countdown
Black Sabbath - Time Machine
Next time around, it's Bad Boys 1 & 2 featuring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Sadly, it is the end of October. So for one more Halloween episode we decide to go with some Mockumentary movies. First the 2006 cult classic Behind the Mask Rise of Leslie Vernon and the newer movie Creep with Pete from the League as a creep.
Music
Talking Heads - Psycho Killer
Scarling - Creep
Lonely Island - Do the Creep
Next week is the start of action month, with a double header of Van Damme movies, Timecop and Hard Target
