UnHoly Mofos episodes

  • Episode 154: Ash Vs The Evil Dead
Back to TV shows we go, also back to Evil Dead we go! Yes, Bruce is back with the TV version of these epic movies! Since it's not an anthology or Monster of the Week type show, it's kind of hard to rate each individual episode so we just discuss certain aspects rather than rating them. Fun is had either way.
    Music:
    Deep Purple - Space Truckin'
    Wage War - Low
    Psychostik - Bruce Campbell
    Ted Nugent - Stranglehold
PJ Harvey - Down By The Water
Next time, Jake picks since Scott is on "probation" and he is choosing to do Troll and Troll 2.
Outtakes: Basically about 40 minutes of BSing, ranging from the recent Polar Vortex to Man In The Mirror
    3 hr 24 min
  • Tales From the Cryosphere: Clerks 2
To say Sean is excited about this episode would be a major understatement. Join us as we revisit one of Kevin Smith's View Askew flicks where we laugh a lot at key moments and Sean has to silence Jake in order to hear certain dialogue. Sync up and enjoy!
    Music:
    King Diamond - Welcome Home
    Q Lazzarus - Goodbye Horses
    1 hr 51 min
  • Episode 153: Death Race 2000 and Death Race (2008)
Two Death Race movies the subject of this episode, both the original starring David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone and the 2008 remake with Jason Statham. But first the toughest decision Sean has ever made in Fucked Up News Stories, tons of new trailer talks, and more!
    Music:
The Doors - Riders On The Storm
    Slipknot - Disasterpiece
Wage War - Don't Let Me Fade Away
Next time around we return to TV shows but something a little different. This time we will talk about the first 5 episodes of Ash Vs The Evil Dead.
    2 hr 41 min
  • Episode 152: Animal House and Blues Brothers
Welcome to 2019! For the first episode of the year, we bring Stan The Man (fresh from the end of Movie Mafia) in to discuss the double feature of movies by John Landis with John Belushi: Animal House and The Blues Brothers. Of course, Stan can say as much as he can without roboting so much. Plus, Jake almost has no voice, one of your hosts is a champion, bit of a halfassed top 5 of the year, and more!
    Music:
    Blues Brothers theme
    Animal House theme
    Blues Brothers - Soul Man
Blues Brothers - Everybody Needs Somebody
Joe Esposito - You're the Best Around (for the fantasy champ)
Next time we hope some Skype issues (and voice issues) can be resolved and we with talk about Death Race 2000 and the remake.
    2 hr 54 min
  • Tales From the Cryosphere: Black Christmas
Merry (belated) Christmas, everyone! To celebrate, we bring you one last festive episode where we revisit the 1974 horror thriller Black Christmas, brought to you by the same guy who did A Christmas Story! Join us in a drinking game for every time Olivia Hussey says "Hello" and the discussion if Mr. Octopus happens to know the identity of the killer!
    Music:
    Venom - Black XMas
Type O Negative - Red Water (Christmas Mourning)
    2 hr 27 min
  • Episode 151: Home Alone and Jingle All the Way
Just a few days before Christmas, here's our festive episode for the year. This time around we're talking the classic Home Alone and Jingle All The Way. The latter is an Ahnuld movie, so the terrible impressions come back, of course. Also a championship between two of the hosts, serial masturbators, Jake's laundry list of what he's been watching and more.
    Music
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee
It's Christmas All Over - Tom Petty
I Am Above - In Flames
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - Fit For a King
Next time around we're doing a double feature of John Landis John Belushi movies, The Blues Brothers and Animal House. Plus our top 5 of the year and maybe an extra member?
    3 hr
  • Tales From the Cryosphere: Jack Frost
For our second of the Christmas themed Cryospheres, we revisit a movie we did last year, but Sean didn't really watch it , so this is his first time, much to his dismay. Also Jake just got back from an office Christmas party prior to this recording, so he gets a little drunk, and pretty close to passing out by the end (after a major gigglefest of course).
    Music:
Bob and Tom - We Won't Get Drunk This Christmas
    Bob and Tom - Frosty
    1 hr 57 min
  • Episode 150: Freddy Vs Jason
Here we are, at another milestone episode. That of course means another long fuckin' episode! Of course we bring back special guests Stan and the NFW crew (Newty, Willis, Suzanne and Gary), and having that many people on a show means lots and lots of talking. Seriously, we cut out a few segments and shortened others and the intro is still the average length of all our recent openings! Rest assured, there is no podlistening in this one.
After all that BS, it's time for the meat and potatoes of the show: our own commentary of Freddy Vs Jason. After 150 episodes, we finally get to talk about Jake's woman Katherine Isabelle, what the hell took so long? Other things such as wrestling, "potatoes," Gary's auction, and much more!
Next time around, we figure it's Christmas time so might as well talk some Christmas movies (even though we do conclude FVJ could be one). So we will talk some Ahnuld with Jingle All the Way and Home Alone.
And of course about an hour of outtakes. But what really makes this a long one is the music selection. You see, FVJ has a soundtrack that has the music 2/3s of the Mofos listen to. So we're putting in everything! Go big or go home!
How Can I Live - Ill Nino
When Darkness Falls - Killswitch Engage
Beginning of the End - Spineshank
    Sun Doesn't Rise - Mushroomhead
    Condemned Until Rebirth - Hatebreed
    Snap - Slipknot
    Army of Me - Chimaira
The After Dinner Payback - From Autumn to Ashes

    Bombshell - Powerman 5000
Welcome to the Strange - Murderdolls

    Trigger - In Flames
11th Hour - Lamb of God
(We Were) Electrocute - Type O Negative
    5 hr 13 min
  • Tales From the Cryosphere: Scrooged
It's the beginning of the holiday season, and that means for this month we will be revisiting our favorite holiday themed movies. First up is the movie that Sean did on one of his longest rundowns ever, Richard Donner's Scrooged with Bill Fuckin' Murray. Sync up your copies and enjoy!
    Music:
Scrooged cast - Put A Little Love In Your Heart
Annie Lennox and Al Green - Put A Little Love In Your Heart
    1 hr 50 min
  • Episode 149: Goldfinger and Thunderball
Our second and final of the year James Bond episode is here, with Sean and Jake running down maybe the most famous of the series, Goldfinger and Thunderball. We try not to make much Austin Powers jokes (and fail miserably) and Jake somehow confuses Jack White and Jack Black. Plus a tribute to Stan Lee in our opening segment plus more.
    Music:
    Shirley Bassey - Goldfinger
    Tom Jones - Thunderball
    Lacuna Coil - Intoxicated
Next time, it's our special milestone episode. Since we've already done Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies, it only makes sense we do an episode on Freddy vs Jason, a commentary episode at that. Plus bringing in some guests, some old and maybe some new? If you want in yourselves, let us know at [email protected]
