Labor leaders inevitably realize their personal interests differ from those of the average union member. In the end, it is the organization and its influence that serve the leaders, not the leaders who serve the organization and its constituents. The Right’s shift toward supporting American workers is a good thing, but we must avoid embracing corrupt oligarchs posing as labor leaders.
