We see in this chapter that there is no neutrality with Jesus. You can either love Him or hate Him. He divides opinions.

Two huge questions that have been discussed for over 1500 years are covered in this passage---1. What does it mean to eat Jesus' flesh and drink his blood--2. Who are those the Father draws to Jesus-

Jesus performs two signs here as the feast of Passover draws near.--1. He feeds the multitude, like Moses in the wilderness and like Elisha-2. He walks on water, like only God can do, and brings His people through the sea miraculously, like in the Exodus story--Jesus is the Great Prophet Moses promised would come, but He is also much more.

In this section Jesus tells the religious leaders about His Father's Testimony. That testimony comes in three parts---- They Sent to John the Baptist -v33-35--- They Saw the Miracles of Jesus -v36--- They Search the Scriptures -v37-47---Jesus then tells them why, despite all the evidence, they don't believe---- God's Word Isn't in Them -v37-38--- They Don't Want to Come -v39-40--- They Don't Love God -v41-42--- They Love the Praise of Men -v43-44--- They Don't Believe Scripture -v46-47-
