Pastor Tim recalls the account from Exodus where Moses sought to meet alone with God in a tent pitched outside of the camp. We each need our own tent of meeting, a special time and place where we come to encounter Him and to hear what He would say to us.

It's our fleshly nature that wants to be in charge, but we learn in from Jesus that we are not the Vinedresser. God is the Vinedresser. John recorded the words of Jesus who taught us that we are the branches, and our job is to abide in the Vine, Jesus. God is the One who tends the Vineyard.

Live the life God has planned for you! Live holy. Live a fruit filled life! Then be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Another strong message by Pastor Tim Parker from the Book of Hebrews. "Don't Lose Heart, " will strengthen, encourage and exhort you to stand fast and receive the discipline of the Lord, allowing Him to transform you so that you can fulfill your purpose in the kingdom and "not lose heart."

Pastor Tim continues his series on the Book of Hebrews. Today he emphasized faith and how sometimes we don't see the answers we expect. He highlighted Hebrews 11 and the "Hall of Fame of Faith," as some call it. There are wondrously powerful testimonies there, but he pointed to the latter part of Hebrews where the chapter lists many who were persecuted, choosing a "better resurrection." Hebrews 11:35 says, "Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection." All of these, the writer of Hebrews states, remained in faith despite the events occurring.

Jesus said the two greatest commandments were to love God and to love your neighbor. For each believer this translates into drawing near to God, to fellowship with Him and other believers. Pastor Tim continues his series on the Book of Hebrews with this message about the necessity of drawing near to His Presence on a daily basis and to not forsake the fellowship of the family of God.
