Trying to understand God is like a toddler trying to understand quantum physics.  We conclude our series “No One Like Him” by exploring the Trinity.  This hard to grasp truth has huge implications for our lives.

Having a God that is loving, kind and compassionate warms our hearts. But God has chosen to reveal an aspect of his character that doesn’t resonate with us so well; he is God of wrath. Many believers cringe at that kind of depiction of God, but his wrath is a necessary part of his perfection. In this message we want to discover why.

In life we need balance.  In relating to God we also need balance.  God is a loving and caring God, but he is also so far beyond us and this demands respect and submission.  We will examine the holiness of God as we try to strike a balance in our relationship with him.

Scripture states, “God is love.”  But what is that love really like and what does it mean in my life?  This message explores not only the cognitive aspect of what God’s love is, but also encourages us to experience that love in our lives.

We have made incredible strides in knowledge of every description in recent years.  Our achievements are remarkable. This can be cause for human hubris.  When we consider the vast knowledge and wisdom and God we are humbled.  We continue our series, exploring the greatness and majesty of God. 

What is the greatest expression of power you are aware of?  In this message on the person of God we want to explore the awesome power that belongs to God.  Beyond that we want to understand how this relates to our lives on a day to day basis.

We conclude our series on the Ten Commandments today. The prohibition of coveting can seem rather  insignificant compared to other commandments. We want to investigate the importance of this critical commandment.

The ninth commandment deals with bearing false witness. Although the primary context of this commandment deals with testimony during a trial or judicial case, the lesson to be learned is about developing honesty in every aspect of our life. Lying has become ubiquitous throughout society and we all are guilty of breaking this commandment. However, Jesus came full of grace and truth in order to lead us in the way of truth. As we surrender to Him and acknowledge the truth, the truth will set us free!

Stealing is something many of us feel we don't have a problem with. We want to plumb the meaning of this commandment. We may find it's not as simple as is sounds. 

Adultery is a cliché topic that is not talked about today. As we look at the commandment against adultery we learn what this commandment truly means for our thoughts and actions.
