Irene Vlachou (*1981) gained her Masters in Type Design at the University of Reading in 2004. She subsequently started to collaborate with international type foundries and corporations, working as a type designer and as a Greek type consultant. From 2013 to 2019 she was senior designer and variable font expert at Type-Together. From January 2020 she is back to full time freelancing Greek and variable fonts.

I'm a first-generation Brazilian-American product designer most recently working on end-to-end design experiences at Amp, a new live radio app by Amazon Music. Previously, I worked on creator tools at Pinterest as the org's first-ever Product Design Apprentice.
