#IYP Episode 71 - Ignite Your Purpose

This phrase is mentioned on almost every show "self awareness" but its not somethng we can grab from the local supermarket or download the lastest self-awareness app. Its a skill that is learnt, practised and then used each and every day. Somedays we float through 24 hours not being aware at all, others are completely on point whilst we are present.

Max and I touch on a couple of basics, the baby steps into self awareness, some skills, drills or hooks to help you learn to be aware of yoru own thoughts, processes and actions, towards youself and towards others.

Max is 10 years in and falls often, I'm a baby in the awareness game and have to be really conscious about the practise.

Its about learning and growing each and every day, like we said yesterday its about the journey not the end result so much.

A lack of connectivity today which, we roll with it and go again. Yesterday I deleted the show pure and simple.

The question from a listener is all about giving things up, a luxury or a behaviour with the aim of achieving personal growth or development. Max Moss Massimo talks about almost giving up his civil liberty, everything get put on hold so he can dig himself out of a hole that a friend left him in. I John Barrett Healthy Funky Free speak about when I started putting what I thought important first rather than making decisions based on what other people may think or say. Life changing stuff, certainly for me.

So technical errors, forgetting to push buttons at the right time, but we are delivering each and every day.
