About Wayne:

Wayne is the Author of the Vampyre Tales Series.

He began writing when he was in grade school because he found it relaxed him, and helped him to “escape” the real world. As time went on, he was given the opportunity to teach a drama class at a local high school, to which he accepted and focused on the importance of stage presence and character building. This later led to a request that would change everything for him. He was asked to create a “believable” Vampire character, and not only did he comply, but his character went on to become his personal persona that would later thrive as the main character of the Vampyre Tales. His books have been taking vampire fans on a journey of their own, leaving a trail of rave reviews and one award thus far, and it’s only the beginning.

He was also the “head vampire” for one of Canada‘s largest theme parks, for the Halloween season several years running which attracted the attention of other organizations. He was hired as a consultant, to build their theatrical haunted houses for the and Screamers in Ottawa Ontario Canada, operated by the Kiwanis was the first, then went on to become a well-known Halloween hotspot . Being non for profit, other Kiwanis divisions throughout the country have since based their Halloween haunts on the Ottawa location, and the creativity behind the origins, have come from Wayne Mallows.

Wayne owned a haunted Gothic Revival Manor House for over a decade, and is no Stranger to the Paranormal

He has also appeared on paranormal television, with a few honourable mentions being Paranormal Survivor S3, Paranormal Night Shift, There’s No Such Thing as Ghosts, Much Music, and more.

About the author

Richard Anderson is a San Jose State University alumnus with a master's degree in microbiology. His studies also emphasized molecular biology and biochemistry. Several years after earning his MA, Richard obtained a Clinical Laboratory Bioanalyst license. In subsequent years, he worked in various administrative and technical management roles in laboratory settings, beginning his first assignment as a clinical laboratory director in 1993.

In 2006, he began working in a reference laboratory for Quest Diagnostics; he continued working in various Quest laboratories as a laboratory administrative director and technical director. Shortly before the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Richard began exploring research areas that had caught his attention during his studies and employment years.

As a result of his research, new information came to light that sparked his enthusiasm. As the pandemic engulfed the world, research and writing his first non-fiction book, "The Evolution of Life," filled the voids left by relative isolation. The completion of this book prompted the creation of his fiction series, "Outbound," looking into the future of humanity off-planet.

Richard lives with his wife in California's south San Francisco Bay area, close to their children and grandchildren.

DJ Jimmy from spooky Appalachia

Jimmy grew up like many children, highly curious , only his inquisitiveness leaned towards the world of High Strangeness. He has fond memories of watching “ Unsolved Mysteries “ with his grandfather and recalls being VERY spooked by the UFO and Ghost Stories.

In elementary school , he had an experience that would change his life. He, his classmates and teacher all had a UFO encounter and from that point onward, he became obsessed with reading books from the library about Encounters stories with UFOs, Cryptids and Ghosts!

His curiosity never left him. He went on to start The Spooky Appalachia Blog where he collected paranormal stories from people. This evolved into a successful YouTube Channel which covers classic tales from Appalachia, as well as a Cryptid series and various stories from his followers . Every now and then you can expect to find him on location sharing historical and spooky stories!

Jared:

Jared grew up in a rustic log cabin deep in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. He always loved being around his elders and listening to their stories of History. His favourites were the tales of The SPOOKY Ghost (Haint) , The Witch, Cryptid (Wood Booger) and Feral People stories.

He was once asked to share a story on a friend’s YouTube channel, which was beyond well received. People wanted more and Jared delivered by starting up his own YouTube channel “Jared King TV” which took off like a bullet with continued success and a large follower base.

He began sharing historical stories from his family as well as allowing others to submit their family stories and their own personal Spooky Encounters.

With a unique voice and an old, authentic Appalachian Mountain accent he went on to host and do special guest appearances at events, festivals, and do voice work for "Sons Of Appalachia" what used to be "Mountain Monsters" on TV.

He came across Spooky Appalachia, truly enjoyed it and contacted Jimmy. They hit it off and became best pals and they now Co Host each other's channels preserving stories of their SPOOKY Appalachian history & Personal Encounters!
