Charles Fillmore uses the story from the Book of Exodus in the Hebrew Bible where the Israelites cross over the Red Sea to escape the pursuing Egyptians. Mr. Fillmore uses this as an allegory to speak to the times when we, as a race, come out of a lower consciousness to a higher condition or race consciousness. This "race" consciousness is often called our "collective" consciousness today.

My guess is this was from a midweek gathering that happened at the 913 Tracy Avenue church in Kansas City, Missouri. My wife, Rev.
