Today's talk is an early (1912) talk from Charles Fillmore. He speaks about the presence of "the Christ" in each and every one of us in this talk titled "The Calm Poise of the Master" from August 11, 1912. This is a Sunday morning talk.

Today's talk is titled "Increasing Man's Capacity" and Charles Fillmore uses the Parable of the Ten Talents as told by the writer of the Gospel of Matthew. This was a talk Mr. Fillmore gave on Sunday morning, June 1, 1930.

Today's talk is an early one from  Charles Fillmore, titled "Social Responsibility" from August 24, 1919. Mr. Fillmore speaks about what is ours to do in the world since we "live in a social world." He shares how he stepped forward and defended an unjustly accused coworker on the railroad in Dennison, Texas, at the cost of his own job.

What is the secret to a joyous harmony with life? Well, Charles Fillmore has some ideas and some wonderful examples of how it works in life when one is in harmony with it. He uses the story of Isaac from the Book of Genesis in the Hebrew Bible as his scriptural basis for a talk titled "Joyous Union With Life" from May 23, 1926. My wife, Rev. Today's talk is a Sunday morning talk Charles Fillmore gave on November 6, 1927, titled "A Lesson in Justice." He uses material for the Book of Amos in the Hebrew Bible as his scriptural basis and notes the basis of injustice is acquisitiveness. He brings in some aspects of the Twelve Powers, or mental faculties, we all have and how to use them in bringing justice into our lives.

Today's lesson is from a Sunday talk Charles Fillmore gave on October 30, 1927. He uses the fourth chapter of the Book of Amos from the Hebrew Bible as his Scriptural basis. This is a great talk on demonstrating the power of the mind and its impact on the body and the power of our imagination. Mr. Fillmore cites an example of 11 men dying from listening to the graphic description of the Tunney-Dempsey fight on the radio! Interestingly, some 144,000 people at the event did not even faint, but 11 listeners on the radio died! Mr. Fillmore reads a news article about the medical reaons for the deaths and makes his comment that it was the power of imagination that caused these medical factors to take place.

Today's talk is a transcript of a Wednesday evening service Charles Fillmore conducted on November 8, 1922. Mr. Fillmore speaks about Unity and why it is called "Practical Christianity."

He uses the biblical story of Paul and Barnabas as told by the writer of Acts (chapter 14) where Barnabas and Paul did some heroic missionary work.

Today's talk is titled "Deliverance From Sense Bondage," given on Sunday, April 22, 1923. Charles Fillmore uses the story from the Book of Exodus in the Hebrew Bible where the Israelites cross over the Red Sea to escape the pursuing Egyptians. Mr. Fillmore uses this as an allegory to speak to the times when we, as a race, come out of a lower consciousness to a higher condition or race consciousness. This "race" consciousness is often called our "collective" consciousness today.
