We are used to hearing the first line of Genesis as “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…”. However, the original Hebrew text tells a much different story, a story in which it is clear that there was no “beginning” before the existence of God. God always was. And then, God began to create. Come and join us as we explore what it means to know that our Christ has no beginning, as well as to take ownership for what we have created.

When God began to create heaven and earth, and the earth then was welter and waste and darkness over the deep and God’s breath hovering over the waters, God said,” Let there be light.” And there was light.- Genesis 1:1

Scripture tells us that Mary went to the tomb while it was still dark. Mary arrived there first, before anyone else. When we know that Mary represents the Principle of Love, we can rejoice in also knowing that Love gets there first, even when it is still dark. Love gets there first, even when there are questions hanging in the air, and even when we are consumed with grief. Come and join us for a beautiful Easter service in which we celebrate the arrival of Love in our lives as we rise from our tomb and celebrate the Christ we are!

The whole planet seems to be emerging from a year-long tomb experience and many possibilities lie before us.  We too have the opportunity to emerge from our tomb as we let go and choose to be the Christ.  Join us in a very different and liberating Good Friday Service as we allow our tomb to be the healing pathway of our resurrection.   We'll gather on our usual Sunday morning Zoom, link below.  Please arrive by 6:50 pm and bring a small cup of anointing oil or water.

As we may have ascertained, the Wounded Man is all of us. It is a stage of consciousness which is a crucial part of our journey as the Christ we are. Come and join us as we examine the faith of the wounded man who was eventually found and returned to Life. This same faith is available to us all, if we are willing to wait by the side of the road, knowing that Love is watching us.

And in the morning, he took out two pennies and gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him; Take care of him; and whatever you spend more, when I return, I will give it to you.- Luke 10:35

In the time that Jesus taught using the parable of The Good Samaritan, Samaritans were considered “untouchable and unclean” by polite Jewish society. They were outcast. When we ourselves have been labeled as misfits - or outcasts - we tend to be able to identify compassionately with other outcasts. Come and join us as we explore the role of the outcast in the healing of society, where the goal is a world with no strangers in it. 

But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. – Luke 10:33

Join Rev. Vi during this Easter season as we look to the life of the Master Jesus as an example of a life fulfilling the potential of weaving physical and spiritual experiences together. Be prepared to laugh, to cry, to relax, while enjoying the journey.  It is a story of healing the human heart by releasing the old, “stuck” energy, and moving into having fun, while creating happy, healthy life experiences. Picture with Rev. Vi now, the laughing Jesus as he lived a life filled with loving compassion, of inclusion, of service. 

As we look, Through the Eyes of Love, we come together on common ground. We are inclusive. We feel safe inside. We feel the comfort of loving care, the warmth of love that is ours to share. We know our feet are firmly planted on the path of New Hope for ourselves, our world and beyond. We are grateful for the path we have chosen to walk. We have everything we need to fulfill its potential. We are grateful. 

"The Levite and The Inconvenience of Love"
Part 3 in the Lenten series "Who Is Our Neighbor"

After the priest passed the wounded man by, another came along, and he also walked past the wounded man. Jesus gave this man the name of “a Levite”. Charles Fillmore tells us that the Levite in this context represents “religious thoughts…that follow the set rule of the letter of the law, with little or no thought …of its inner, spiritual import.” Come and join us as we explore our own need to remain entrenched in the letter of the law so as not to be inconvenienced by the Law of Love. 

So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. – Luke 10:32
