Story Transcript:
Cy: Ym mharc gofod agored y pentref, lle roedd lliwiau'r haf yn goleuo pob cyfeiriad, roedd Rhys, Carys, ac Eira yn ymgynnull o flaen Neuadd Gymunedol y Selarwen.
En: In the village's open space park, where the summer colors illuminated every direction, Rhys, Carys, and Eira gathered in front of Neuadd Gymunedol y Selarwen.
Cy: Y neuadd lle bu sawl pleidlais, trafodaeth, a chyngerdd, ac a oedd yn dal ychydig orffennol eu pentref.
En: The hall where many votes, discussions, and concerts had taken place and which still held a bit of the village's past.
Cy: "Oes," meddai Rhys wrth edrych o gwmpas ar y tiroedd gwyrddlas, "dyma ddiwrnod pwysig i ni gyd, mae yno lawer i benderfynu.
En: "Yes," said Rhys as he looked around at the verdant lands, "this is an important day for all of us, there is much to decide."
Cy: "Roedd Carys yn cefnogi wrth ei ochr, yn brif stryd y pentref, yn dathlu ei atgofion.
En: Carys supported him at his side, on the village's main street, celebrating her memories.
Cy: "Os nad ydym yn rhoi parch i'n traddodiadau, beth fydd yn digwydd i'n cymuned?
En: "If we don't respect our traditions, what will happen to our community?"
Cy: " meddai, yn poeni am ba mor gyflym roedd y newidiadau'n digwydd.
En: she said, worrying about how quickly the changes were happening.
Cy: Roedd Eira, symlig ac ifanc, yn dal mwy ar flaen ei drafodaethau.
En: Eira, simple and young, was more forward in her discussions.
Cy: "Ond mae angen defnyddio'r pleidleisiau i greu'r newid, Carys.
En: "But we need to use the votes to create the change, Carys.
Cy: Ni allwn sefyll yn stond.
En: We can't stand still."
Cy: "Gwrandawodd Rhys yn astud ar y ddau.
En: Rhys listened carefully to the two.
Cy: Roedd yn berson syml, dyn diwyd ei disco mawr yn pryderu am ffermio ond hefyd â chalon gadarn dros wella'r pentref.
En: He was a simple person, a hardworking man with a deep concern for farming but also a strong heart for improving the village.
Cy: Roedd yn gwybod eu bod yn gorfod dod i gytundeb.
En: He knew that they had to come to an agreement.
Cy: Roedd hynny'n bwysig.
En: That was important.
Cy: Pan gyrhaeddon nhw i'r neuadd, roedd rhai pentrefwyr eraill eisoes yn cyrraedd, yn sibrwd a'n sibrwd.
En: When they arrived at the hall, some other villagers were already arriving, whispering quietly.
Cy: Roedd awyr ymosodol nad oedd gair yn gallu ei ddisgrifio'n llawn.
En: There was a tense atmosphere that no words could fully describe.
Cy: Wrth fynd i mewn i'r neuadd, teimlodd Rhys y tensiwn yn lle i griw yn siarad heibio i'w drwynau.
En: As they entered the hall, Rhys felt the tension in the place, with a group speaking past each other in hushed tones.
Cy: Cafodd ei galon ei tharfu, ond dim mewn ofn.
En: His heart was moved, but not in fear.
Cy: Roedd yn amser ei bleidlais, ei geiriau.
En: It was time for his vote, his words.
Cy: Aeth at y podiwm a dechreuodd ei araith.
En: He went to the podium and started his speech.
Cy: "Pam naws y gallwch weld Cariad a Newid fel dau bwyf.
En: "Why can’t you see Love and Change as two companions?
Cy: Yr wyf am inni gyd uno.
En: I want us all to unite.
Cy: Mae angen parchu traddodiad eto croesawu ein dyfodol.
En: There is a need to respect tradition yet welcome our future."
Cy: " Gwels ei geiriau yn taro nodau yn wynebau'r rhai oedd yn gwrando.
En: He saw his words strike a chord in the faces of those listening.
Cy: Roedd Carys a Eira, wrth ochr Rhys, yn edrych ar ei gilydd.
En: Carys and Eira, beside Rhys, looked at each other.
Cy: Gwnaeth rhywbeth ystyried.
En: Something to consider.
Cy: Roedd gan Rhys ffordd arbennig o ddwyn y ddau ynghyd.
En: Rhys had a special way of bringing the two together.
Cy: Wrth i'r diwrnod fynd yn ei flaen, roedd cymunau a chwestiynau.
En: As the day went on, there were communions and questions.
Cy: Anogodd Rhys Carys ac Eira i fynd am baned o goffi a sgwrsio.
En: Rhys encouraged Carys and Eira to go for a cup of coffee and chat.
Cy: Gwnaethant hynny.
En: They did so.
Cy: Dechreuodd trafodaeth bositif.
En: A positive discussion began.
Cy: Cynnodd Rhys y fflam o undod.
En: Rhys kindled the flame of unity.
Cy: Roedd braf gwybod am newidiadau oedd yn dod, ond yn cael eu gollwng yn araf a hyderus.
En: It was nice to know about changes that were coming, but that were being released slowly and confidently.
Cy: A chyda hynny, newidiodd Rhys hefyd.
En: And with that, Rhys also changed.
Cy: Roedd yn barod i siarad mwy, i feddwl yn fwy agored, a gwneud i bob un deimlo'n bwysig.
En: He was ready to talk more, to think more openly, and make everyone feel important.
Cy: Aeth yr haul i lawr dros y tiroedd gwyrdd, gan ddangos bod gwawr newydd o unoliaeth wedi dychwelyd gyda Rhys i'w fferm, gyda gobaith newydd ar gyfer eu pentref bach.
En: The sun set over the green lands, showing that a new dawn of unity had returned with Rhys to his farm, with newfound hope for their small village.
