  • Episodes 19 and/or 20 Reading of The Spirit of Intimacy Chs 6 and 7
I made an entire hour and a half episode on childhood trauma ans when I was done the application I use said “unable to recover audio”. It must not have been meant to be heard. We will go back to The Trauma Series, very soon. Somehow it got split into to episodes so it is a break in between. Instead, I read and briefly discussed Ch 6 Initiation: Gaining Knowledge and Ch 7 Marriage: Two Worlds Together from the book The Spirit of Intimacy, Ancient African Teachings in the Ways of Relationships by Sobonfu Somé. If you have any questions or comments please ask. Oh yeah the tree on this podcast episodes cover is the ancestor tree, the one with no leaves that is very very alive and well. I will go to that tree from now on whenever I need their physical comfort. As spoken about in the book I also have personal possessions of my auntie and the grands that I wear or touch when I need a physical reminder or motivation/inspiration. • Episode 18, Sharing Life Changing Wisdom, The Hidden Science Academy
Yo! You will want to thankh(speak life) me later!! Just a quick 9 min discussion on the life changing presentation I watched yesterday. Massive shout out to my UK fam that shared the event link with me. The Hidden Science of Black Love, presented via Zoom, February 27, 2021, almost 8 hours long was worth every damn second. Last years presentation is on YouTube I haven’t seen it yet BUT what I saw yesterday was phenomenal, and Africans need to definitely process and overstand the wisdom presented, it was a game changer in OUR healing!! As I said if you join The Hidden Science Academy, $9/mo you can view yesterday’s presentation. It is definitely worth a lot more than $9!! There website is www.thehiddenscienceacademy.com The wisdom given in those presentations is life changing!! They make you want to learn more. The Hidden Science of Black Music (free on Vimeo) another phenomenal presentation this is the link https://vimeo.com/494809732

  • Episode 17 Return to Trauma Series, A Self Reflection
Never forget the WORLD needs Africa. Africa does NOT need the world it was a self sufficient continent for 1000s of centuries before colonization and capitalism. What most people think is great is what ruined Africa and Africans globally. OK so I was watching a documentary called BOUND Africans vs African Americans, EXCELLENT documentary and I recommend it to every African/ Black person on Earth so we can get a better overstanding and GET TO WORK. Enough talking, 2021 to infinity is for doing, doing something towards healing, self sufficiency and being a better African. This is the YouTube link to the documentary https://youtu.be/eoI6bkM7VGk . After watching it please feel free to give your opinions but not before. The music is one of my favorite songs. I listen to it a few times a week Africa by Amanda Black and Adekunle Gold, the words are so powerful, motivating and inspirational if I get lost (wearing the mask) in being here in Amerikkka I listen and let it love up on me.

  • Episode 16 Random Thoughts and Constant Conversations
This episode was a discussion of random thoughts I’ve had lately and constant conversations I’ve had recently. I discussed Akata Witch and Akata Warrior books for teenagers but adults will enjoy it too. If your kids like Harry Potter they will love Akata Witch, representation matters and it’s a good story. Reminders: YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT, you put health and good foods in everything from your body to thoughts will be good. You put unhealthy foods and thoughts in and that’s all you will produce is junk and BS from your bowel movements to your words. Manifesting and stop searching for those quick fixes, work on you and do the INNER WORK not just the outer work. Time, patience, and consistency accomplish goals. Twenty one days of doing anything consistently becomes a habit, start NOW working on your goals. My website www.VeggieVibez.com The music in the background is Kanawa by Nahawa Doumbia. Book recommendations Akata Witch and Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor. Podcast recommendations Mama Rue https://open.spotify.com/show/3I6EC1kK5GSOOa8geG8sdc?si=XZlUWtPlT5a2jgplaTcnrA AND The Artist Journal on YouTube https://youtube.com/channel/UCHepZGmXbBIJo2BwuVB8wtg The Qi Gong link is https://youtu.be/Ku48lBFGl8Y Happy, Healthy & Whole is the Goal!! Breathe, Breathe, Breathe!! Enjoy the journey beautiful (inside and outside beauty) Afrikan people!!

  • Episode 15 Still on Break from the Trauma Series Read Chs 4 &5 of The Spirit of Intimacy
Infinitely Abundant 2021. We are still on break from the Trauma Series. We will get back to it on the next episode. This episode I will read chapter 4 Ritual: The Call to Spirit and chapter 5 Born to a Purpose. As I will always say Africans live by rhythm, the rhythm of life and purpose. Ironically, I’m reading The Healing Wisdom of Africa by Maliodoma Some, who is Sobonfu Some’s husband, she is deceased. The portion we job just finished discussed the 5 elements and ritual as well.

  • Episode 14 Infinitely Abundant 2021 or 6262
Infinitely Abundant 2021 to everyone. If you follow the kemetic calendar Infinitely Abundant 6262. The number 62 represents your life is working in miraculous ways and your faith (in yourself and your abilities) opens the door for miracles. 21 represents inspiration and creativity. Either, way you look at it this year will be filled with awesomeness!! As is every year that we practice gratitude, positive changes and taking control of our happiness and healing. Everyday is a new day to DO better and BE better!! This episode will cover being grateful, instant gratification, respecting the process of healing (and ENJOYING THE PROCESS, good bad & indifferent it is about learning), and falling in love with yourself. Friendly reminders: *it takes 21 days of consistency for a behavior change to become a habit *goals are completed thru TIME, PATIENCE & CONSISTENCY The book I discussed is The Little Book of Infinite Abundance by Naisha Ahsian. You can Google “the little book of Infinite Abundance pdf” to get the free ebook. I recommend to start on page 21 if you want to jump into the thick of it, get a notebook to take notes, write affirmations and complete the exercises. Enjoy, your infinite abundance!!

  • Episode 13 Speak Life in to Everything You Do!
Sawubona! A friendly reminder SPEAK LIFE IN TO EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO! Speak life into to everyone you interact with. Be mindful of your words and actions. Words have POWER! I AM on a journey of healing! I AM prosperous and abundant! I AM happy, healthy and whole (that’s the goal)! I AM one of the most powerful 3 letters in the English “language”. In Sesotho it is Ke Nna. In Swahili it is Mimi (🖤). In Xhosa it is Ndinguye. Whether saying ke nna, mimi or ndinguye they all say I AM!! Everything in African (Traditional) life has purpose from the air to animals, names to numbers, feelings (intuition) to food. We live and love by the rhythm of life in alignment with the universe, towards our ultimate purpose. Speak life and love into your world, I promise it will change your journey!! • Season 2, Episode 12 Reading chapters 2 & 3 of The Spirit of Intimacy by Sobonfu Somé
Sawubona is Zulu it means "I see you, you are important to me and I value you”. It is so amusing to me the influence words make when read out loud. Welcome to Season 2 of the Universal Afrikans Healing Circle podcast. This episode we continue reading The Spirit of Intimacy, Ancient African Teachings in the Ways of Relationships by Sobonfu Somé, reading chapters 2 & 3. In discussing a Song of Spirit and The Embrace of Community we are given many gems to implement in our lives that will aid us in healing ourselves, tradition and our communities. Even using our mother tongues (mine is Tswana/Sesotho) helps the healing process. The significance between Sawubona and just saying hello. I have elders that, that’s the only way I greet them and when I say it, it brings me a deeper sense of connection, connection to my elders, connection to my ancestors, connection to spirit, and connection to community. I would love to read in the comments ways you’ll work towards healing yourselves and in turn reviving your communities or building community and reconnecting with spirit.

  • Episode 11 A trauma break. The reading of The Spirit of Intimacy by Sobonfu Somé
To give us a break from discussing trauma and time to work on YOUR healing before diving back into the discussions on trauma I decided to read a little. Even the reading addresses our healing within our relationships which too often do not address our traumas until they have already been detrimental to the relationship. I read the Foreward and Chapter 1 then briefly discussed the information.
