This episode is inspired by my birthday … I will be 55 on February 22! Am I too old to be setting goals and striving for the excellence inherent in my “co-created best?" Heck, no! I’m ready to follow my Higher Power’s guidance, wherever it leads. I pay attention to messages from God, as these affirm my abilities, not messages from the media, which depict age as a disease. So whether you are 18 or 88, this program is for you, as positive aging takes place at every age. This program is full of ideas about how to co-create a perpetually youthful attitude as we experience excitement and anticipation about all the opportunities which await us in our future.

Have you ever come out of the movie theatre or the supermarket to find a fear-inducing religious tract (a pamphlet or leaflet of religious propaganda) placed under your windshield wiper? I have. How did you feel when you read it? Are you ever subjected to the electronic version of this—the “religious” programming on radio or TV which seeks to build its following through threats of hell and brimstone with a sprinkling of prejudice? Join us as we discuss ways we can stay on the path of co-creation in words, thoughts, and actions when exposed to these viewpoints.

So often we are told to set our intentions in a firm, definite way and then focus our thoughts on these as much and as hard as we can. The Universe Responding Spiritual Model For Life suggests that this directs us off the path of co-creation.  Even though our initial intention may have been divinely inspired, the problem with this approach is that the inflexibility that it creates blocks our ability to hear messages of divine guidance, resulting in the “I WANT” taking over. We miss directions from God that may cause us to modify or even abandon an intention. However, when we set our intentions in pliable clay, we are always ready to reshape them as our Higher Power guides us. Thus our intentions will always be in harmony with our co-created best!

A foundation of the process of co-creation when using the Universe Responding Spiritual Model For Life is our willingness and ability to continuously communicate with the Higher Power of our Understanding. But just how do we do this? What forms might this take? How do we ensure our prayers and meditations are effective channels for two-way, co-creative communication rather than one-way routes to “I WANT” pleadings? How do we avoid being fooled by those who hold themselves out as necessary middlemen in the conversation between you and God? Please join us as we examine the nature and potential of the various forms of divine communication and how to discover those which help you achieve your “co-created best.”

Last week, in Oneness in Action, Installment 1, we discussed the difference between Oneness/Interconnectedness and separation and how these two approaches to life profoundly affect how we respond to God and to each other. This week we build on these concepts as we explore how we can be Courageous Co-Creators as we work with our Higher Power to promote Oneness and Interconnectedness and dissolve separation. This episode is filled with practical tools to help us in this mission!

As we leave the joys of the holiday season, we enter the stress, excitement and importance of a political year in the United States. During 2012, we will have periodic installments of “Oneness in Action,” a series of programs which will help us to examine how we can disagree on issues, whether political or otherwise, while still maintaining the civility, courtesy, respect and love that reflect our interconnectedness and put our Oneness into action. This first program will discuss how to stay centered in Divine Oneness, regardless of whatever might be swirling around you!

The holidays are often a time of excess—we eat too much, we drink too much, and we spend too much. We sometimes abandon what we’ve learned about co-creation and begin “creating on our own” with abandonment. Soon, we see the consequences—gained weight, repercussions of alcohol at the wrong times and in the wrong amounts, and a huge credit card bill. How much better it is when we include our Higher Power in our holiday plans as we remember that this, too, is a time to co-create all of our life experiences.

In our first program of this two-part series, we explored what fear is and why people so readily give in to their fears. In this second installment, we learn practical ways to permanently eradicate fear from our lives using some basic, yet powerful tools found in our Co-Creation Toolbox. Join us as we learn how to continuously be engaged in Courageous Co-Creation! We have no need for fear in our lives!

In this first program of our two-part series, we explore why people have succumbed to fear in 2012—the Maya calendar’s December 2012 date of doom; the theory of “pole shifts” and the resulting breakaway continents; a “galactic alignment” that may send Earth into a gravitational spiral; the collision of Earth with Nibiru (“Planet X”); or the less exotic problems such as job loss or home foreclosure in the current economic upheaval—and how Courageous Co-Creation can keep us centered and strong, preventing us from sinking into the despair that these scary images invite.
