"When we minister without love, we take a gift that's meant to be given and we turn it inward to benefit ourselves."

This week, Jerell taught 1 Corinthians 13 and raised three points from this section of Scripture:

1. It's possible to do the work of Christ without the love of Christ (v. 1-3)

2. It's possible to do the work pf Christ without the love of Christ and not be aware of it (v. 4-7)

3. This is good news (this season is temporary and will end, but love will not) (v.8-13)

"The Gospel is about the King of the universe laying His life down for you."

This week, we paused our series through the book of Ephesians, and Sean taught on Matthew 4:12-25 and broke down these verses into three sections:

Verses 12-17: a prophetic promise

Verses 18-22: description of light shining in the dark

Verses 23-25: description of how Jesus fishes for people

He also explained how Jesus brings healing to the hurting:

By going into the place of past and present pain

He empowers everyday people

He presents the Gospel of the Kingdom
