1. Romans 12:1 begins with "therefore" and points back to God's many mercies. Which mercy of God do you most need to remember right now, and how does remembering it move you toward worship?
2. The message says that Christians do not simply bring something to God, we belong to God. What would it look like to offer your whole self to God in one ordinary area of life this week?
3. Where do you feel the pressure of the world trying to shape your definition of success, happiness, or identity? How can corporate worship and Scripture help Jesus reshape your thinking?
4. The message warns against disconnecting worship from mission. What are some signs that this disconnect has happened, and how can a church or individuals guard against it?
5. Think of your home, workplace, classroom, neighborhood, or campus. Where might Jesus be sending you to carry worship into mission through a specific act of love, service, justice, or Gospel witness?

Read Hebrews 10:19–25. What stands out to you about how often the passage uses words like "us" and "we"? What does that teach us about the Christian life?

The sermon says, "Sometimes simply showing up to worship is an act of hope." When have you experienced worship differently because of something you were carrying into it?

How have the presence, prayers, singing, or faith of other Christians helped you hold onto hope during a difficult season?

What makes it difficult to believe that your presence in a worshiping community matters to other people? How might believing that change the way you approach gathered worship?

Hebrews 10:23 says, "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." What does it look like for a Christian community to help one another hold onto that hope in everyday life?

We were made to worship and we were made to worship together. In Hebrews 10, we are reminded that Jesus opened the way for us to draw near to God and has gathered us into a community where we help one another hold onto hope. Sometimes simply showing up to worship is an act of faith, and our presence, prayers, and voices can remind the people around us that they are not alone and that the God who promised is faithful.

23 "All things are lawful," but not all things are helpful. "All things are lawful," but not all things build up. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. 25 Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 26 For "the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof." 27 If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. 28 But if someone says to you, "This has been offered in sacrifice," then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience— 29 I do not mean your conscience, but his. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else's conscience? 30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks?

31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
