I've always been a big fan of artists who keep their hands on vinyl. In my opinion, they're some of the most important artists out there, because their craft and love for our scene run deeper than anything else. Going to the shop, buying records, and supporting the artists is what keeps it all alive.

That spirit was all over our first collaboration party with Perpendicular from Spain back in 2024. Almost two years later, it's heartwarming to listen back to those sets and finally share them so you can relive them too.

This time we're releasing the set from Madrid-based artist Muted. He's been very active and is a truly great vinyl DJ. His set followed Felix K's, which moved from 170 down to 130 BPM, and Muted picked it up while keeping the tension just as strong.

With so many talented people around the world, it's sometimes really hard to turn down a mix. Based in Chicago Shanti, reached out to me, and when I listened to her mix it blow me away. Some words from the artist:

"As we were approaching the end of spring and the beginning of summer, I wanted to express my appreciation for nature and growth while also recognizing the uneasiness we feel about the reality of impermanence. Summer envelopes us, yet it is quite fleeting… how do we grapple with our euphoric feelings about the state of nature while knowing that it is only temporary?

I invite listeners to contemplate my set that was recorded live at Podlasie Club (Research & Development) in Chicago as an expression of this simultaneous appreciation and tension. I am so grateful to share a more experimental set of mine with a podcast series I deeply admire and respect. Thank you for having me and thank you for listening to my thoughts without words."

@jdharrington is a Philadelphia-based DJ who gravitates toward more focused listening environments, where his deep taste and ear for ambient music can really unfold. There’s a real patience and intention to the way JD plays, drawing from deep ambient and left-field selections that reward close listening. We’re very happy to welcome him to the series.

Next mix comes from a lovely Brooklyn-based duo running a podcast series called Delayed. Collective known for left-field techno, ambient and experimental electronic music, with their own label Never Late. They've been on my radar for quite some time, and this mix is the cherry on top of everything they've made so far.

Such a pleasure to work with such a talented pair! Big love to you, Ira and Giles, for this wonderful addition to our series. Honestly, my only wish is that this mix were an hour longer!

@vickisiolos is a dear friend of the series and someone whose taste and musical knowledge we deeply respect. Her long-running monthly ambient show Bright Patterns on The Lot Radio has become a trusted space for thoughtful, immersive listening, and her work as an ambient DJ is held in the highest regard. This mix feels like a perfect reflection of what has always made her DJing so special.

It's a true mastery to do a proper opening of a party. You need to take into account so many things that very few know how to do it properly. When I got this mix from Pablo I was thinking about this, and how much effort and thought he had to put into it. Big shout out to the Ouroboros family and Pablo for sharing this mix with us. When we got invited by F-on to do our first collaboration party, I never imagined it would sell out in 30 minutes! This party was confirmation that there’s a real need for this kind of sound. On the night we were talking with DB1 about how this was one of the best mix we’ve heard from Felix. Big respect for that! All the sets were amazing and some of them will appear here in the near future :) Thank you again Perpendicular team for inviting us, especially F-on, Camu, Vrika and all the DJs who shared booth with us!

We always wanted our community to have the nicest people. When I met Craig, we connected really fast and had so much to talk about. A brother from another mother is joining us as a resident. He is such a great DJ, but most importantly, the nicest person out there. Welcome to the team Craig. Here is his long-awaited 83 BPM mix for his residency.

We were listening to Hexadecimal set and I was proper thinking about inviting him to open our first warehouse party on the techno & DnB stage in 2024. At that exact moment I got a message from Lynne with this mix saying 'Cliff recorded a set for us'. I was absolutely gobsmacked, wtf? Is our world colliding? Are we synchronised? So after two years, here it comes, that synchro, straight into your head!

Live set recorded last year for our podcast. It took some time to get this out but we're so happy to finally channel this in your ears. This one was born from months spent in the Japanese countryside, bamboo, tea, a river, and a community that quietly shifted something. More lo-tech, more minimal, closer to the ground. Sampler-fed drum machines, free-hand rhythms, and a dub instinct that never left. In dub we trust.
