We're so glad to start 2022 with the mix from Owl on his birthdays (Happy Birthday buddy). His music is telling exactly where we are at the moment. It's meditative, tribal, psychedelic, funky, hypnotic, dark, bright and has lots of positivity for the future.

Gianluca Meloni newest project Laertes is about Deep Techno with modular and live improvisation. He is working and collaborating at Enisslab Studio in Rome with @Neel. Project Modern Heads is run with Dino Sabatini. A busy man helps other musicians to do their craft better with online training.

This is a recording of a live set from Naturalisten. Sounds primarily from his travels, so they are pretty wild sources from relatively undisturbed habitats.

From Naturalisten: "Imagine yourself in a deep jungle, without electricity, surrounded by wild animals and shamans. Then you go for your first night dive, where you see a sleeping turtle and move your hands through the dark water, bioluminescence sparkles around you like liquid stars. Hopefully, you’ll find peace in it."

August Sessions will start a special edition. I’ll be showcasing the musical taste of selectors who create festivals, clubs, galleries, and other initiatives. Open Source Art Festival (OSA) is an experimental space curated by my long-time friend Sylwester Galuschka. He has organised more than 100 events and this year’s OSA is the 9th edition.
