Hey everyone! Let's get into it! I had the absolute honor of sitting down with Aaron Burros, known as The Running Servant. Aaron's story is one of unimaginable pain turned into extraordinary power, and you won't want to miss it! So let's meet Aaron!

In November 2015, Aaron's life changed forever when he was shot five times while heroically saving his coworkers during a workplace shooting. Despite a bullet lodged in his right glute muscle and enduring severe PTSD, Aaron refused to let these traumas define him.

Instead, he took on the incredible challenge of running 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 weeks to celebrate his 50th birthday in January 2021. His journey is chronicled in the compelling book MEDAL MONDAY: My Quest to Run 50 Marathons in 50 States in 50 Weeks 5 Years After Being Shot 5 Times.

The things we discussed in this interview were the harrowing details of the workplace shooting and Aaron's near-death experience, coping with PTSD and mental health challenges, the physical journey and the pivotal role it played in his recovery, and his books and plans, and his mission to spread love and build community.
