I used to suck at having the difficult conversations. Not just professionally, but personally too. 

My attempts would go one of two ways, either I'd explode and get really angry or I'd go quiet and just agree with whatever the other person said while judging them harshly in my head. Because of this I just stopped having the difficult conversations altogether. Essentially I thought they were a waste of my time and just got focused on the future instead. 

What I didn't understand back then was that through choosing to avoid dealing with the conflict, I was also choosing to hold onto all the toxic emotions that came from the conflict. As a result my life just slowed down, I put on weight, money was harder to generate, genuine connection was difficult and stressing out was all too easy. Just like a full laptop hard drive, I had limited space for the new to come in. 

In this episode today I speak about my experience with this challenge, how I eventually became better at addressing conflict in my life and the key learnings I took away from making it a priority. 

Gen’s tech company has gained serious momentum! 
When we sat down for the Genius Session a month ago, Gen expressed that she was stuck overthinking quite a bit. She was unsure whether her tech was streamlined enough to launch. She was questioning what type of offers she needed to make to gain traction in the market. She wasn't certain on whether she needed outside investors for the launch and was little lost on where she could find a tech mentor. 
After going through the processes with me, Gen clearly saw that her next best step in launching her tech company was to actually start a podcast and not worry about investors, mentors, offers or streamlining the tech. 
One month on, Gen has taken the action step and is absolutely reaping the rewards from it!

The only problem was, she was unsure what that actually was.

Welcome back to the Unlock The Genius Within!

Today I speak about the power of the unconscious mind, and how choosing to remain unaware of its message is fatal to our ability to create what we want. Back when I was a kid I was told by psychologists that I would struggle with anxiety and panic attacks for the rest of my life. They suggested it was predisposed and that I'd need to continue to get help in order to overcome them. Being a kid, I assumed this was the truth and of course went on to experience anxiety attacks right up until the pandemic hit. Though I continued to seek help, none of the personal development material or coping strategies worked long term. Sure they provided a band aid, but inevitably the attacks would resurface after later down the line.

It was only when I learnt about alchemy and the subconscious mind, that I saw I was unconsciously setting myself up to relive my anxiety attacks. Without me really knowing I was focused on how "powerless" and "incapable" I was in the world and that without the protection of my mother & father I was doomed. Though I consciously knew that wasn't true in the present as an adult, the message that 5 year old Jordan took on was still firmly in play. The power the unconscious mind has really cannot be underestimated.

In today's episode I speak about this in detail and also take you through a very quick visualisation exercise that will give you a look into your own unconscious mind and what it is telling your subconscious to create in your life. The exercise finishes with you being prompted to receive a message from your genius that'll help you shift out of the limiting beliefs at play.

In this episode I speak about how momentum is always being generated by our genius, it has an intelligence that is continually drumming up opportunities, people and resources that can support our creations. But when we assume that simply doesn't exist, we buy into the fact that we are alone in our creations and try to force things to happen dysfunctional manner. If you choose to see how you're genius is wanting to co-create with you, you'll find momentum is always at play and tapping into it will feed you all the mental, physical, emotional & financial resources you could possibly need to create what you truly want.

Welcome back to the Genius Sessions! On today's episode I welcome a former client of mine and good friend, Natalie Svendsen.

Natalie is a meditation & mindset coach, who helps professionals navigate big changes & transitions so they can create a life of their dreams. She came on to the show today, because she had been feeling like she'd lost her mojo in her business. All the systems, offers and strategies are in place to grow her business but she's been procrastinating in actually putting it out there. After diving a little deeper it was clear that Natalie was very attached to perfecting everything in her business to avoid burning out and putting out a subpar service.

Very quickly after deconstructing her situation, Natalie quickly saw the ways in which her ego had trapped her on a hamster wheel chasing perfection. To alchemise the creative structure she was in, I gave Natalie an intuitive reading about the business her genius wanted her build. I specifically went for the vision of the whole company, aiming to superconsciously receive the market, message, main offer and model of it all in one hit.

And like always, the superconscious mind didn't disappoint. Not only did I find myself speaking about a much bigger business concept for Natalie, but she instantly realised that this very concept had actually been showing evidence of coming to fruition. People around her had been asking for it! Only problem was, she had been discounting its significance.

Welcome back to The Genius Sessions!

On this episode I welcomed my guest, Urszula Carr. Urszula is a doctor who has an inspiring coaching practice dedicated to helping burnt out medical professionals live more inspired and fulfilling lives. She applied to be on the show because she was experiencing a fear of selling her services and a block in clarifying and expressing her marketing message.

After delving into her situation on a deeper level at the beginning of the session, I quickly saw that there was another limiting structure at play that was causing her to feel fearful and blocked. Through deconstructing this we were able to successfully disarm the limiting message and free up space to call in Urszula's genius. Within a matter of minutes of being guided deep into the intuitive exercise, Urszula connected to some powerful insights about her market, overall vision and genius value proposition. As a by-product, she knew exactly how to market & sell her services. The fear and confusion was gone as she finished the session clear and excited about the action steps that needed to be taken.
