Brief summary of show:
We connected over skin care, fashion, and Rifle Paper coffee mugs. Chelsea is an instant friend who I feel like I have known forever. Her story will inspire you, challenge your perspective, and allow you to see that life can happen for you when it seems to happen to you.
Meet Chelsea, a seasoned entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the dynamic world of social selling. Passionate about the intersection of business and compassion, she co-founded Heartwork with her daughter, Kinnen, intertwining entrepreneurship and caregiving, while inspiring others with their story and art. This venture not only aims to provide for her medically-complex daughter but also serves as a platform to instill entrepreneurial skills.
Chelsea embarked on her professional journey after studying studio art at Smith College and honing her skills in drawing and costume design at SCAD. Art art major with a secondary study in psychology, she always wanted to find a way to merge her creative skills with relationships and empowering others to live at their fullest abilities. Before discovering her path, she spent a decade navigating the retail landscape, from thriving within big corporations to contributing her expertise to startups. Her diverse experience has shaped her into a resilient and innovative entrepreneur.
When her daughter fell ill as an infant she left her typical career to pursue growth in social selling. Trying her hand at several creative outlets, she took pause, gave it to God and focused on her baby girl. Two years later, Heartwork was born!
Today she is a homeschool mother of 2, living in Columbus, Ohio. Married to her best friend and champion through it all, Blake. She is a leader and coach in the social selling space and entering her 6th year of Heartwork with Kinnen. She is a Vermonter at heart, loves maple syrup about as much as Elf, and in another life would be designing costumes on Broadway.
Join Chelsea on a journey where business acumen meets compassion, creating a unique blend that defines her entrepreneurial spirit and devotion to her family.
