En: The island's authorities were concerned, but there were no definite clues about the benefits of the valuable artifact.

Cy: Yn ei chanol hi, roedd enw Gareth yn cael ei sibrwd yn unig am un peth: y diddordeb hofflyweddol mewn relicau hynafol.
En: In the midst of it all, Gareth's name was whispered for one reason: a curious interest in ancient relics.

Cy: Diwrnod arall, tra’r oedd e'n crwydro'r strydoedd cul, daeth Gareth ar draws Rhiannon.
En: Another day, while he was wandering the narrow streets, Gareth came across Rhiannon.

En: They exchanged glances for a minute, then Gareth said, "We must collaborate," with determination in his voice.

Cy: Rhywbeth o'r fath oedd yr eiliadau hynny - doedd Rhiannon ddim yn ymddiried yn rhwydd.
En: That's how those moments were—Rhiannon didn't trust easily.

Cy: Ond roedd dognau eu profiad gyda’i gilydd yn unan niwliedig.
En: But their shared experience created a foggy unity.

Cy: Felly, dechreuodd y ddau weithio wrth ddyfeisio llygedyn o gyfuniad newydd.
En: So, the two began working on devising a spark of a new combination.

Cy: Roedd eu hymchwiliad yn eu harwain trwy ogofeydd a ffyrdd cyfrinachol, o'r ffordd siopau twristiaid.

En: The campaign continued for weeks—indefinitely.

Cy: Mewn ymladd sydyn, cyrhaeddon nhw siambr gudd o dan y gweithfannau anarferol.
En: In a sudden struggle, they reached a hidden chamber under the unconventional workplaces.

Cy: Hedfanuss, roedd yr arteffact ar y bwrdd marbel o'u blaenau.
En: Amazingly, the artifact was on the marble table before them.

Cy: Ond doedd dim amser i lawenhau.
En: But there was no time to rejoice.

Cy: Yma llwyddodd lleidr annisgwyl i’w dal.
En: An unexpected thief managed to catch them.

Cy: Yn erbyn pob tebygolrwydd, fe wnaethant gydweithio eto i ddianc.
En: Against all odds, they cooperated again to escape.

Cy: Aethon nhw ymlaen i bensaer eu cynllun.
En: They proceeded to architect their plan.

Cy: Grwynodd Gareth y bachul o Nadolig annigonol.
En: Gareth sighed at the thought of an incomplete Christmas.

Cy: Teimlai am y tro cyntaf lawer o bethau.
En: For the first time, he felt many things.

Cy: Roedd crookedly yn cyfeirio athew, ond roedd hefyd yn werthfawrogi'n ddiysgog cymaint ydy treftadaeth ddiwylliannol.
En: He was crookedly referencing himself, but he also unwaveringly appreciated how much cultural heritage matters.

Cy: A dychwelodd Rhiannon yn gwybod ei bod hi wedi gweithio gyda rhywun y gallai ymddiried ynddo o'r diwedd, gan sylweddoli hefyd mai gwerth dydi cydweithiad yw achub iaith.
En: And Rhiannon returned knowing she had finally worked with someone she could trust, realizing also that the worth of collaboration is language preservation.

Cy: Roedd y ddau’n cerdded i mewn i'r mwsgfa, gan gwblhau eu gwaith.
En: The two walked into the museum, completing their work.

Cy: Roedd y lleoliad yn llawn si-a a gwir barchedig at resymau'r amserau.
En: The setting was full of chatter and genuine reverence for the reasons of the times.

Cy: Roedd yr arteffact yn ddiogel eto.
En: The artifact was safe again.

Cy: Roedd pawb yn fflat â pheth olew cariad rhwng bendithion gyaethis.
En: Everyone was impressed, with a blend of love and respect between mutual blessings.

Cy: Yn stori hon, roedd cyfle i wir gwrdd.
En: In this story, there was a chance to truly meet.

Cy: Roedd y pherthynas a'r cariad tuag at yr hyn a oedd yno yn fodd i ddal, a phenderfyniad go iawn yr oedd yn newydd.
En: The relationship and love towards what was there became a means to endure, and a true determination that was new.

Cy: Roedd Santorini erbyn hyn yn werin llachar, roedd llonyddwch Gaeaf arall wedi diflannu wrth i'r enaid ocsideiddio ysgol o wydnwch meddigol.
En: Santorini was now a bright republic, the stillness of another Winter had vanished as the soul oxidized a ladder of medical endurance.
