Story Transcript:

Cy: Ym mhrif dref Caerdydd, saif Castell Caerdydd yn uchel, ei dyrau'n codi fel llinell amser hanesyddol dros y ddinas.
En: In the main town of Caerdydd, Castell Caerdydd stands tall, its towers rising like a historical timeline over the city.

Cy: O dan y tyllau bygythiol a chysgodau codiog, mae Geraint yn sefyll gyda Cerys a Rhys.
En: Under the looming arches and shadowed heights, Geraint stands with Cerys and Rhys.

Cy: Mae'r haul haf yn taflu goleuni meddal dros y gerddi llawn blodau a'r waliau cerrig.
En: The summer sun casts a soft light over the flower-filled gardens and stone walls.

Cy: Roedd Geraint yn dra farddonol am gyfrinachau canoloesol.
En: Geraint was quite poetic about medieval secrets.

Cy: Roedd ei lygaid yn disgleirio wrth iddo sôn â Cerys am arteffact chwedlonol a grewyd ar ei ddychymyg.
En: His eyes sparkled as he spoke to Cerys about a legendary artifact created in his imagination.

Cy: "Mae'n rhaid ei bod hi yma, rhywle," meddai Geraint, gan symud ei lygaid yn lwyr tuag at y cyfleu o dŵr y castell.
En: "It has to be here, somewhere," said Geraint, turning his eyes fully towards the depiction of the castle tower.

Cy: Ond roedd Cerys yn fwy eithafol.
En: But Cerys was more cautious.

Cy: "Yr hyn sy'n bwysig yw bod ni'n ofalus. Rhaid i ni wybod pwy i ymddiried ynddo," a rhybuddiodd, ei llais yn ei gwneud hi'n amlwg nad oedd hi'n hoff o Rhys.
En: "What’s important is that we're careful. We must know whom to trust," she warned, her voice making it clear that she did not favor Rhys.

Cy: Roedd Rhys yn ddrych annibynadwy, ond ei glwstiau cryptig oedd yr unig allwedd.
En: Rhys was an unreliable mirror, but his cryptic clues were the only key.

Cy: "Byddwch yn ofalus i ddilyn y llwybr pan fo’r haul yn dwyn cysgodion hir," dyna neges Rhys.
En: "Be careful to follow the path when the sun casts long shadows," was Rhys's message.

Cy: Roedd y cyfarwyddiadau yn codi cur pen.
En: The instructions provoked a headache.

Cy: Cofleidiodd Geraint yr her, er gwaethaf gwg Cerys.
En: Geraint embraced the challenge, despite Cerys's frown.

Cy: Wrth iddyn nhw symud i mewn i’r castell, muriau tawel oedd cyn-filwyr y gorffennol, gyda sŵn adar y aeron yn drydar fel cerddoriaeth i'w ôl traed gosgar.
En: As they moved into the castle, the silent walls were veterans of the past, with the sound of the berry birds chirping like music to their eager footsteps.

Cy: Roedd rhannau o’r castell yn gael gweithio i’r cyhoedd, ond nid oedd hynny'n atal Geraint.
En: Parts of the castle were open to the public, but that didn't stop Geraint.

Cy: Ym meddyliau Geraint, gwêl ddarlun o'r arteffact.
En: In Geraint's mind, an image of the artifact formed.

Cy: Roedd adroddiadau yw fod arteffact gyda phwerau hud, a gd oedd hyn yn wir, roedd yn werth mwy na unrhyw ganmol.
En: Reports claimed the artifact had magical powers, and if this was true, it was worth more than any praise.

Cy: “Mae ansicrwydd gennym ni,” dywedodd Cerys yn ei ffordd bendant.
En: “We have uncertainty,” said Cerys in her firm manner.

Cy: “Gofynnaf arall gall achosi problemau i ni.”
En: “Asking more questions could cause problems for us.”

Cy: Yn araf, fe'u harweiniodd Rhys i lawr stryd gefn troellog y castell.
En: Slowly, Rhys led them down a winding alley of the castle.

Cy: Pan gyrhaeddodd y drws arian gyda phatrwm allwedd aneglur, roedd gwefr yn llawn awyr.
En: When they reached the silver door with its unclear key pattern, the excitement filled the air.

Cy: Aeth Geraint i gyflwyno'r allwedd sydd wedi ei chwilio a'i chael, a chliciwch, fe agorodd y drws.
En: Geraint went to present the key that had been sought and found, and with a click, the door opened.

Cy: Tu ôl i'r drws, roedd siambr wedi'i gylchynu gan garreg a bywyd.
En: Behind the door, there was a chamber surrounded by stone and life.

Cy: Roedd Geraint yn dal ei anadl - roedd hyn yn siŵr o fod y lle chwedlonol, cefnlen o secrets a hanes.
En: Geraint held his breath—it was surely the legendary place, a backdrop of secrets and history.

Cy: Ond yna, roedd gweld yr arteffact yr un mor frawychus â'i stori.
En: But then, seeing the artifact was as frightening as its story.

Cy: Roedd crychau ar wyneb, gyda glow nodedig o lywodraeth sy'n cynnau eu neuaddau â dylanwad.
En: There were wrinkles on the surface, with a distinctive glow of governance that lights their halls with influence.

Cy: Ond yn ôl y cynllwyniau, fe newidiodd Geraint ei feddwl.
En: But in light of the schemes, Geraint changed his mind.

Cy: Dadffurfiwyd deall yr enghraifft, roedd arno ofn codi problemau a allai gwmpasu.
En: Misunderstanding the artifact, he feared causing problems that might arise.

Cy: “Rhaid i mi beidio â’i wneud ddim, mae hanes yn ddiogelach pan mae’n segur,” meddai'n benderfynol.
En: “I must not do it, history is safer when it’s untouched,” he said decisively.

Cy: “Mae'n iawn,” meddai Cerys, gyda llaw ar ei ysgwydd.
En: “It’s okay,” said Cerys, with a hand on his shoulder.

Cy: Gadael y dechrau, aeth eli Cerys a Geraint i'r awyr lân, gyda chyfrinachau’n dal i fod ymlaen.
En: Leaving the beginning, Cerys and Geraint went into the open air, with secrets still ahead.

Cy: Roedd Geraint wedi dysgu gwers.
En: Geraint had learned a lesson.

Cy: Beth sy'n bwysicach na ffarwelio â awydd yw cynnal yr hyn sydd yn ei hanes.
En: What is more important than bidding farewell to desire is upholding what is in history.

Cy: Roedd hi’n well cadw’r dirgelion na’u herio.
En: It was better to keep the mysteries than to challenge them.

Cy: Roedd Castell Caerdydd yn parhau i gadw ei syrpr presennol, gyda gwâr cyfan ohono'n medru llithro drwy gyfrinachau'r gorffennol.
En: Castell Caerdydd continued to hold its present surprise, with its entire presence able to glide through the past's secrets.
