Why is it called Unmasked by Grace?
Every one of us wears masks.
Some were created to protect us from pain.
Some were built from rejection, fear, comparison, or the desperate need to be accepted.
Over time, those masks can become so familiar that we forget we’re even wearing them.
In this deeply personal episode of Unmasked by Grace, I share the story behind the name of this podcast and the journey God has taken me on—from a timid, insecure little girl searching for acceptance to discovering that true freedom isn’t found in becoming someone else… it’s found in belonging to Christ.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to hide your scars, prove your worth, or become someone the world would accept, this conversation is for you.
Because grace doesn’t ask us to pretend.
It gently removes everything that was never really us.
Unmasked by Grace isn’t the story of a woman who finally found herself.
It’s the story of a woman who finally stopped hiding from the God who had known her all along.
