Cindy Maxwell-Awesdeck joins us to help unpack the unicameral from last week and gives us the information to help prepare us for this week. Cindy co-founded the Nebraska Legislative Study Group and recently ran as an Independent for Legislature in west Omaha’s LD4. She is a wife, mother, and small business owner with a professional background in recruitment and sales. Cindy believes in service, rolling up her sleeves, and getting to work for her neighbors and community. She is the President of Rank the Vote Nebraska, on the Advisory Board for Nonpartisan Nebraska, and has proudly volunteered as a Nonpartisan Election Observer through Civic Nebraska. She is a student of the Legislature and an advocate for increasing participation of everyday Nebraskans in the Unicameral’s 2nd House.
