The path of getting triggered is pretty similar in almost all of us; someone does or says something that gets us. It can be someone saying something stupid, disrespectful, perhaps mean. Or It can be an action, an attendant too slow, a bus driver driving recklessly, an old lady walking too slow in front of us in a supermarket aisle. Whatever the reason is, we feel it is impossible not to get triggered by such a thing, and it's all their fault. The truth is, we get triggered because we choose to; it is our choice to react that way.
In this episode, we will talk about how we perceive things. We will dive deep into why we react the way we do and how to control our responses. We will also talk about the impact of taking things said to us personally. We will go through some questions we can ask ourselves to avoid getting triggered by what people say to us and why we shouldn't try to change the things that get under our skin.
I invite you to tune in and find out why it is better to let go of certain things more often in our lives.
