Unraveling The Words of Yahweh

In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most main stream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. 

In this Part 53 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 41 to 43. 

 In a previous section  Yahshua Messiah speaks of the coming of the Son of Man being just like the days of Noah and Lot. In both illustrations it was the wicked one who was taken in judgment. Luke 17:27 says, “the flood came and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:28-29 says: “It was the same as happened in the days of Lot…and destroyed them all.”  Luke 17:34-36 gives three illustrations of the separation of believers and unbelievers. Then the following question is asked by the disciples: “Where Lord?” This question means where are the unbelievers taken? Yahshua answers: “Where so ever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.” Eagles in this context imply vultures that hover over and scavenge a dead corpse.

Book of Enoch Chapter 90

1.   And I saw till that in this manner thirty-five shepherds undertook the pasturing (of the sheep), and they severally completed their periods as did the first; and others received them into their hands, to pasture them for their period, each shepherd in his own period.
2.    And after that I saw in my vision all the birds of heaven coming, the eagles, the vultures, the kites, the ravens; but the eagles led all the birds; and they began to devour those sheep, and to pick out their eyes and to devour their flesh.
3.   And the sheep cried out because their flesh was being devoured by the birds, and as for me I looked and lamented in my sleep over that shepherd who pastured the sheep.
4.   And I saw until those sheep were devoured by the dogs and eagles and kites, and they left neither flesh nor skin nor sinew remaining on them till only their bones stood there: and their bones too fell to the earth and the sheep became few.
5.    And I saw until that twenty-three had undertaken the pasturing and completed in their several periods fifty-eight times.

In verse 2 the eagles (Rome, Italy), vultures (Iran), kites (Greece) and ravens (Syria/Iraq) attack the sheep (O.T. saints).

6.    But behold lambs were borne by those white sheep, and they began to open their eyes and to see, and to cry to the sheep.
7.    Yea, they cried to them, but they did not hearken to what they said to them, but were exceedingly deaf, and their eyes were very exceedingly blinded.
8.     And I saw in the vision how the ravens flew upon those lambs and took one of those lambs, and dashed the sheep in pieces and devoured them.
 9.    And I saw till horns grew upon those lambs, and the ravens cast down their horns; and I saw till there sprouted a great horn of one of those sheep, and their eyes were opened.
10.   And it looked at them [and their eyes opened], and it cried to the sheep, and the rams saw it and all ran to it.
11.    And notwithstanding all this those eagles and vultures and ravens and kites still kept tearing the sheep and swooping down upon them and devouring them: still the sheep remained silent, but the rams lamented and cried out.
12.   And those ravens fought and battled with it and sought to lay low its horn, but they had no power over it.
   In verse 8, the ‘ravens’ (Syria/Iraq) attack the new converts.

I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study. 

In this Part 52 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 40. In our last study we covered verses 37 to 39 the Days of Noah. I do a recap of that Days of Noah. This week’s study we will look at the 2 in the field and the 2 women grinding.

Take note that there is NOT ONE VERSE that we covered so far that describes a Pre-Trip Rapture! 

40           then = tot'-eh; (made up of 2 Greek words ‘to’ [the] and ‘hot-eh’ [at which (thing) too, that is when or after that]) the when, that is, at the time that (of the past or future, also in a sequence or succession of events or things): - that time, then.

in the field = the world. Remember the Parable of the tares in Chapter 13? Yahshua Messiah tells his disciples in verse 38 that ‘the field is the world’. Therefore can we conclude that people are working throughout the world?

Shall be taken – left = Both verbs are in the present tense, which makes the saying more lively. One is taken and one is left.

Taken = ‘par-al-am-ban'-o’ From 2 Greek words ‘par-ah’ and ‘lam-bam-o’; to receive near, that is, associate with oneself (in any familiar or intimate act or relation);

Left = ‘af-ee'-ay-mee’ From ‘apo’ and ἵημι hiēmi (to send; an intensive form of εἶμι eimi (to go));

41           Two women shall be grinding at (en/in) the mill. = In the absence of mills turned by wind or water, which were of much later invention, every household had its own little hand mill, worked by women of the family or by slaves.
 
A key to understanding the Bible is to examine a verse in its context. The full context begins in Matthew 24:6 with, “But of that day and hour [of Yahshua Messiah’s second coming] no one knows.” It ends in Matthew 24:44 with, “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Clearly, the topic is preparedness for the Messiah’s second coming.
 
Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’

In this special broadcast I go into the Feast of Tabernacles.

Now I realize that the conditions set forth by Yahweh differs from what He set forth in the beginning. What caught my interest into these 7 Holy Feasts was the Prophetic Message contained within them.

We find that within these 7, 4 are in the season of the spring, while the remaining 3 are in the fall or “harvest. 

In studying the Prophecy aspect of Yahweh’s Words, we realize and conclude that these 7 Holy Feasts play an important role in the Prophecy of Yahshua Messiah concerning the past and the present. 

Let’s take a brief view of the first 4 Feasts:

The Feast of Passover pointed to Yahshua’s death on Calvary as “the Lamb of Yahweh, who taketh away the sin of the world”, John 1:29

The Feast of Unleavened Bread attested to the fact that Yahshua’s body, unlike all others would not decay in the grave. The Son of Yahweh, in speaking with His Heavenly Father said, “for Thou wilt not leave My soul in hell, neither wilt Thou permit Thine Holy One to see corruption” Psalms 16:10

The Feast of Firstfruits proclaimed the certainty of His bodily resurrection. The acceptance by Yahweh of the Firstfruits [sheaf] of the spring barley harvest guaranteed a full harvest to follow. By virtue of the resurrection of Yahshua Messiah, He is the Firstfruits and guarantees that all the Saints within Him will one day rise from the grave.

The Feast of Pentecost, which occurs exactly 50 days after Firstfruits [the resurrection of the Messiah] anticipated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the origin of the “Ek-kelsia”. We read in the Jewish Talmud, in the tractate of Sotah, foli #48 it reads in part “when Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi died, the Holy Spirit departed from Israel; nevertheless they made use of the Bath Kol.” [a divine voice from Heaven]

These 4 events in the life of Yahshua Messiah, which the 4 spring feasts depicted, are history. We can look back at these events and they can be examined as historical facts. We can say that the first 4 set the foundation for the remaining 3. [As I think on this foundation, I think of the Tabernacle, which is to come, and when this Tabernacle comes, then all of His Elect come to dwell in the eternal]

The fall Feasts have not yet occurred! They are yet future and predict with absolute certainty, events that will most assuredly unfold. As the 4 spring Feasts were fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection with the Messiah’s first coming, the 3 Fall Feasts will likewise be fulfilled literally and right on schedule in connection with His second coming.

Beginning at Sunset on Friday, September 29, 2023 starts the Feast of Tabernacles which ends at nightfall on Friday October 6 2023.

 Then on the evening of October 6, 2023, begins the 8th Day, which is called Shemini Atzeret. (Numbers 29:35), simply as ‘the 8th day of assembly’. [the sages interpreted this to mean Yahweh asks all who made pilgrimage for Sukkoth to tarry (atzeret, which come from the Hebrew root word meaning ‘to hold back’ with Him one additional day.

The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) points to the final phase of Yahweh's plan of redemption for mankind—the Second Coming of Yahshua Messiah and the Millennium.

Something very special happened on this Feast of Tabernacle. Some miracle from Yahweh was about to change the views of the future world!

In this week’s study, I finish Chapter 14. Before I begin I go into this study I was again go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life. The Fifth Vision "On Earth"

14:6-20
 The Six Angels and the Son of Man

It is part of the larger Episode, and is parenthetical. The previous vision on Earth has told us of those who were slain because they refused to worship the Beast or receive his mark. Those who were for death, had been killed; and those who were to be kept alive, have been kept alive (13:10). The worshippers of the Beast received his mark; and those who refused to take the mark of the beast, BUT received the mark of the Lamb (Yahshua Messiah) and of His Father in their foreheads. This seems to point to the 144,000 sealed ones, of whose sealing we read in chapter 7. They had passed unharmed through the judgments of Yahweh, and through the persecutions of the Beast.

Remember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Don’t listen to man’s tradition, but Yahweh’s true Word! “Know His Word personally on the earth”

Once again as we continue in this Chapter 14, we must remember that at this time there is total chaos on earth. Satan now realizes that after the resurrection of the 2 witnesses that the 7th trumpet is now blowing and the 3rd Woe is about to begin.

In this verse 17 we read of a fifth (grace) angel coming out of the Temple in Heaven. In scene two we move from the grain harvest of the bowl judgments to a grape harvest of judgment, again, symbolizing the slaughter that will occur at Armageddon.  At first we see the angelic reaper as another angel assists the Son of Man in this harvest. 

These two harvests may be different ways of describing the same judgment about to come upon those who follow the beast, or the first may portray that Yahshua Messiah will safely harvest His own while Yahweh's wrath is being poured out on His enemies.  I do not believe either represents that which will occur when Yahshua Messiah comes at the end of time (though they may certainly foreshadow that great event).  Instead, like the angelic proclamations they reassured the Christians of John's day that Yahweh's hour of judgment was soon to come upon their enemies
The second reaping above (verses 17-20) is clearly associated with the wrath of Yahweh, which is culminated at the visible return of The Messiah at the conclusion of the bowl events. The bowls end in chapter 19 where we see this same event described using the same wine press metaphor (Rev 19:15).

This raises a question: What then is the first reaping (verses 14-16)?

We have seen that there are two similar “reapings” of the earth. To see why, we must pay attention to the differences:
In verse 14 (first reaping), the one appearing with the sickle is Yahshua Messiah.
 In verse 17 (second reaping) the one with the sickle is said to be an angel.
In verse 15 (first reaping), the call for reaping doesn’t specify what is being reaped from the earth.
 In verse 18 (second reaping), it is the “grapes of wrath” being reaped from the earth.
In verse 16 (first reaping), it says “the earth was reaped“, with the past tense indicating that the Messiah’s first reaping was accomplished before the second reaping began.
 In verse 19 (second reaping), we see that the second reaping is the wrath of Yahweh.

The worshippers of the Beast received his mark; and those who refused to take the mark of the beast, BUT received the mark of the Lamb (Yahshua Messiah) and of His Father in their foreheads.

Sickle = This is the judicial sentence of separation, which cannot by any means whatever be avoided. For we are within it, whithersoever we attempt to flee, for whatsoever is enclosed by the sickle falls within it.
We have not only a sickle in his hand, but we see that there is a white cloud that the Son of Man is sitting on. Throughout the Word of Yahweh white clouds are symbolic of majestic glory.  And notice he has a golden crown on his head.  This is a stefanos crown worn by victorious generals, worn by victorious athletes, not the diadema worn by kings.  This is very important for you to understand.

The prophet Daniel saw this as well in Daniel 7 and verse 13 and 14.  There we read:

Dan 7:13  I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 

Dan 7:14  And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. 
The difference between Yahweh’s Judgment and Yahweh’s Wrath

One thing we must keep in mind is that the word “tribulation” used throughout the Book of Revelation and the New Testament is the Greek word “thlipsis” and it can be used to describe “trials, afflictions, persecutions, troubles and a sense of being pressed down.” It is used frequently in the New Testament for Christians persevering under trials, persecution, martyrdom and afflictions and also for the breakdown of society leading to chaos. (Matthew 24:21-22) It also describes wars, rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes and disease. (Matthew 24:7-22) Yahweh allows tribulation (thlipsis) to perfect the saints (Romans 5:3) (Acts 14:22) and to bring judgement to the spiritually wayward and wicked in order to bring them back to repentance and reconciliation with Himself. His judgements are in the earth to do this. (Isaiah 26:9)

In this Part 51 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 37. In today’s study we discuss the words of Yahshua Messiah as He warns us of the Days of Noah.

So we must ask ourselves what is Yahshua Messiah talking about the Days of Noah?

37           As the days of Noe were =In Noah’s day there was plenty of warning, but utter unpreparedness. Most people are either indifferent about the second coming or have imaginary schemes or programs about it. Few are really eager and expectant and leave to Yahweh the time and the plans.

so shall also the coming of the son of man be = to take vengeance on the Jews or we can say on that 2 part beast system which John writes about in Revelation Chapter 13, that one world government and religious institute which Lucifer has control of.

38   Marrying and giving in marriage = What in the world is Yahshua Messiah referring to? Who did the people of Noah’s time marry? According to Genesis 6 and the Book of Enoch, they were marrying those fallen angels who left their first estate according to Jude verse 6. (Side note keep in mind that the Book of Jude is technically the first book to be written of our New Testament). 

Now we have to ask ourselves, why would these fallen angels want to marry with flesh women? To pollute that future bloodline that would bring into the world the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! This event goes all the way back to the first prophecy in Scripture, which can be found in Genesis 3:15 (read). Satan had to try to destroy that bloodline so that prophecy would never come to pass. Read Genesis 6, Job 1, 2 and Jude verses 6-7.

“giving themselves over to fornication" = does "themselves" refer to the cities Sodom and Gomorrah, or does it refer to the angels? If it goes back to the angels he is linking their sin to a sexual sin, and that is Genesis 6. Grammar tells us that it is the angels, due to gender and number agreement. Pronouns need to agree with gender number and case with their antecedent. The word "them" is from the Greek toutois, which is masculine plural, and "angels" is masculine plural, but "cities" is feminine and does not agree grammatically. So it is saying that these angels indulged in gross immorality.

Enoch Chapter 6

1              And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.

2              And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.'

Josephus, Antiq. Book 1 Chapter 3 says; For many angels of God accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust, and despisers of all that was good, on account of the confidence they had in their own strength; for the tradition is, that these men did what resembled the acts of those whom the Grecians call giants.

Pseudo-Clementine Literature Chap. XV. - The Giants.

“But from their unhallowed intercourse spurious men sprang, ranch greater in stature than ordinary men, whom they afterwards called giants; not those dragon-footed giants who waged war against God, as those blasphemous myths of the Greeks do sing, but wild in manners, and greater than men in size, inasmuch as they were sprung of angels; yet less than angels, as they were born of women.

In this verse 13 there are three important themes that I believe emerge from this stunning pronouncement of blessing that awaits the worshippers of the Lamb. They are, number 1, the perseverance of the genuine faith; secondly, the promise of future blessing and, thirdly, the perpetual reward of righteous deeds.
 13.          And I heard a voice from heaven saying: = It seems most natural to suppose that the voice is that of the angel who directs the visions of St. John

Then notice, “Yea!”  The Greek grammar here indicates that this is a strong affirmation. “‘Yes,’ says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.’” 

"Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth:" = This is another voice: not that of the third angel. The connection is clear; "from henceforth" refers to death from that time.

"Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, for their works follow them." = A proclamation is declared toward this ‘patience of the saints’. They are dead unto sin, but alive unto Yahweh through Yahshua Messiah.

Labours = As he had said that the ungodly have no rest for ever, so, on the contrary, he shows that the faithful, who are helped by their former works, from now on rest, that is, from the time of death.

Yahweh’s Wrath (Preview of Bowls)

The next few verses are a preview of the bowl events that contain Yahweh’s wrath. In fact, these verses focus mainly on the visible return of Yahshua Messiah which takes place at the end of the bowl judgments, and which is itself the most severe event of them all. I believe that this event is highlighted because it marks the conclusion of Yahweh’s long-standing offer of redemption to sinners. As discussed in verse 13 above, people may still repent and be redeemed in the midst of Yahweh’s wrath during the bowls, but those who remain unrepentant up to the visible return of Yahshua Messiah must face Yahweh’s wrath in the eternal way.

In our last study we covered in verse 8 about Babylon the great city is fallen. But did you know some history on this city or the area surrounding it?

In verse 9 we discovered John revealing to us a 3rd angel giving us a warning about those that worship the beast and his image or receive his mark in their forehead or hand.

Now in verse 10 we read of the consequences of those that the 3rd angel warns us about!

  Drink = In that he says, "he also shall drink," he shows that there is another also who has drunk, so as not to exclude him who, although he is not visibly mingled with the nations, yet worships the beast under the name of Yahshua Messiah. 

10.          the same = now this is said with emphasizes. “He also shall drink’

wine of ... wrath of God = Read Psa. 75:8). ‘For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.”

without mixture = whereas wine was so commonly mixed with water that to mix wine is used in Greek for to pour out wine; this wine of Yahweh’s wrath is undiluted; there is no drop of water to cool its heat. There is no grace or hope is blended with it. 

Shall be tormented with fire and brimstone = An allusion to the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrha for their unnatural crimes.

11.         smoke = always used symbolic for judgment. Read Isa. 34:8-10. ‘For it is the day of Yahweh's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.’ 

And whosoever receiveth the mark of his name - See Rev. 13:17. The meaning here is, that such worshippers will receive the punishment which other idolaters and sinners do. No exception will be made in favor of an idolater, though he worships idols under the forms of an abused Christianity; none will be made in favor of a sinner because he practiced iniquity under the garb of religion.

12.             Here, etc. = resumed from Rev. 13:10. In the fiery ordeal of persecution which awaits all who will not worship the beast, the faith and patience of the followers of Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah shall be put to the test, and proved.

patience of the saints = Greek, “hupomene,” “patient, persevering endurance.”

Patience = Although the beast has vented his rage, yet the saints are not made sad by the earthly suffering, which is to be rewarded by eternal bliss. For they see, on the other hand, that their persecutors, who for a time act proudly, suffer eternal punishments with the beast.

Remember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Don’t listen to man’s tradition, but Yahweh’s true Word! “Know His Word personally on the earth”

Beginning with verse 6, we read about Yahweh’s messengers
In the chapter there are 6 messengers, or agents (and a voice from heaven verse 13), employed, who prepare for or complete the harvest: the angel of good news (6-7); the angel proclaiming the doom of the great world city (8); the angel who warns men against the mark of the wild beast (9-12); the voice of comfort (13); the angel of the wheat harvest (14-16); the angel of the vintage (17-20); the angel of fire (18). But before these we are shown a vision of the servants of the Lamb.

7. Fear Yahweh = fob-eh'-o From ‘fob-os’; to frighten, that is, (passively) to be alarmed; by analogy to be in awe of, that is, revere
give glory to him = and not to the beast
the hour of his judgment = “The hour” implies the definite time. “Judgment,” not the general judgment, but that up on Babylon, the beast, and his worshippers (verses 8-12).
worship him that made heaven = not Antichrist (compare Acts 14:15). But The true Yahweh, the Creator of all things.
sea ... fountains = This would be the people, distinguished also in Rev. 8:8, 8:10.
The proclamation of the second angel announces the fall of Babylon, described later in great detail
Babylon = here first mentioned; identical with the harlot, the apostate Church; distinct from the beast, and judged separately. Why do I say the apostate church? Because Babylon means ‘confusion’, has taken place on this earth at this time. Many so-called Christians have sold their soul to these two beast systems.
the wine of the wrath of her fornication = the wine of the wrath of Yahweh, the consequence of her fornication
The third angel proclaims the terrible judgment and eternal torment to
befall those who worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark
9. And the third angel followed them = This was a new vision designed to represent the removal of all the obstructions to the final prevalence of the gospel.
Worship the beast and his image = worshiping the ideas of the New World Order. Other words, worship the religious beast and work for the one world system. 
Mark = By saying, "on his forehead, or on his hand," he shows that the devil marks some by an unholy profession, but others by practice alone.

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto Yahweh, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’

In this week’s study, I continue in Chapter 14 beginning with verse 4. 

The Fifth Vision "In Heaven"

14:1-5.
    The Lamb and the 144,000.

 The Fifth Vision in heaven is very brief. It is another Episode, telling us of those who will have come through the great Tribulation, and have been caught up to Heaven.

 In our last study we continue in this Chapter 14 with John now in his 5TH Vision which takes place in heaven. There John see the Lamb and the 144,000 with the Father’s Name written in their foreheads. In verse 3 we learned about the new song and how the 144,000 were redeemed from man. In today’s study we shall see how they were virgins other words they did not defile themselves with the antics and the anti-Christ and false prophets, which were performing the duties of Satan at this time on earth.

4.         This refers to a spiritual sense. Otherwise they did not seek Satan, but Yahweh’s Word. These Firstfruits are chosen to be with the Lord before any elect, so therefore this would blow the rapture theory out once again. Keep in mind that these are after the Yahshua Messiah, but before the elect. In the first part of verse 4 we see the 144,000 in the active position while in the 2nd part we shall see the 144,000 in the passive position.

 virgins = spiritually (Matt. 25:1); in contrast to the apostate Church, Babylon (verse 8), spiritually “a harlot”

 follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth = in glory, being especially near His person; the fitting reward of their following Him so fully on earth.

 redeemed = “purchased.” The passive position.

 being the = rather, “as a first-fruit.” Not merely a “first-fruit” in the sense in which all believers are so, but Israel’s 144,000 elect are the first-fruit, the Jewish and Gentile elect Church is the harvest;

 in = ‘en’governs only one case the Dative and means being or remaining  within , with the primary idea of rest and continuance. Therefore the indirect object would be the 144,000. Because guile was found within them.

guile = ‘dol-os’; probably meaning decoy; trick as in bait; wile.  

without fault = Greek, ‘am-o-mos’, unblemished. “blameless”:

Now John is directed to the earth as we see The Fifth Vision "On Earth"

The next vision, which follows "on earth," follows closely on the last, and is preliminary to the pouring out of the seven Vials. No angel has been seen or heard since the seventh angel sounded the seventh trumpet in 11:15. This shows us that the passage 12:1- 8 is parenthetical, and constitutes one series or episode.

This fifth vision on earth consists of the appearance of six angels consecutively, each having his separate mission, and all but one (the fifth) having his own proclamation. They are distinct from each other, and continue the Episode by giving us Yahweh's side of what is going to happen; and telling us of what He is doing during the time that the Beast and False Prophet are running their course in chapter 13. They form also a summary of all the remaining judgments contained in the rest of the Book.

We can call this section the “Final Call of Salvation to People of Earth”
