Unraveling The Words of Yahweh

In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study. 

In this Part 50 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 33. I begin with a recap of what we have discovered up to this point in our Rapture study. In our last study Yahshua Messiah was giving us a Parable of the fig Tree. In verse 33 He continues with this thought.

33        So likewise ye = (outw kai umeiv , so also ye, emphatic). As surely as buds and leaves prove the coming of summer, so you, who have been taught, may gather from the fulfillment of the signs mentioned (verses 15-22, etc.) the approach of the end.

Know that it is near = (oti egguv estin). The darkening of the sun,  moon, and falling of the stars, all those things that I have spoken to you.

At the doors; = as James 5:9, on the very threshold, and therefore about to enter.

James  5:9  Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. 

34        This generation. = The generation of the Fig Tree!

35        Heaven and earth. = The tone is that of One who speaks with supreme authority,

but my words shall not pass away = plural “logos” be vain and empty, and unaccomplished;

36        of = concerning. Greek. peri. ‘peri’ governs two cases (Genitive and Accusative), and denotes  around, or  about , like a completed circle.  

But of that day and hour = let’s take a look at the Greek ‘ho-rah’ which is the English word for hour, here, says Grotius, as denoting, not a part of a day, but a larger portion of time.

knoweth = has any perceptive knowledge. Greek. oida.

only = alone. Not the Lord as "the Son of man", though surely as "the Son of Yahweh". 

no, not the angels of heaven = who dwell there, always behold the face of Yahweh, stand in his presence ready to do his will,

but my Father only = to the elimination of all creatures, angels and men; but not to the keeping out of the Messiah as Yahweh, who, as such, is omniscient; nor of the Holy Spirit, who is acquainted with the deep things of Yahweh, the secrets of his heart, and this among others, 

The unknown day and hour. 

This is one of the most striking words of our Lord. The record of it shows the genuineness of the Gospel writers. No early Christian would have invented such a sentence as this. The words themselves testify to the truthfulness and to the modesty of Yahshua Messiah. They are significant also in the light they throw on the limitations of knowledge. 

I               THE FACT. No one but our Father in heaven knows the whole future. Some parts of it are revealed to all of us, some are within the perception of prophets, more may be specially known to angels, very much must have lain open before the eye of Yahshua Messiah. But Yahweh only knows the whole. The final judgment is known only to him. Why is this?

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’

In this Part 49 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 32. I begin with a recap of what we have discovered up to this point in our Rapture study.

 This morning Yahshua Messiah will be teaching us The Parable of the Fig Tree

32           Now learn a parable of the fig tree = Take a likeness, or comparison from the fig tree, which was a tree well known in Judea; and the putting forth of its branches, leaves, and fruit, fell under the observation of everyone.

So what did Yahshua Messiah say? Learn! Not maybe! Other words, ‘from the fig tree learns its parable’.

when its branch is yet tender = through the influence of the sun, and the motion of the sap, which was bound up, and solid in the winter season: 

and putteth forth leaves = from the tender branches, which swell, and open, and put forth buds, leaves, and fruit: 

ye know the summer is nigh = spring being already come: the fig tree putting forth her green figs, is a sign that the winter is past, the spring is come, and summer is at hand; see Son. 2:11.

Summer = the seed is planted in the spring (May 14, 1948) harvested in the fall, “Feast of Tabernacles’. Now do you understand, why Yahshua Messiah tells us, “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter” verse 20?

The Fig Tree is the Sign of His Coming

Yahshua Messiah gives us an important sign to look for concerning his coming: the fig tree. The sign of his coming and the end of the age is the fig tree:

The Fig Tree Is Israel

There are two obvious questions concerning this parable: who or what is the fig tree and how long is a generation? The answer to the first question is unmistakably Israel.

Hosea 9:10; I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season.

 Joel 1:6-7; For a nation has come up against My land, strong, and without number; His teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the fangs of a fierce lion. He has laid waste My vine, And ruined My fig tree; He has stripped it bare and thrown it away; Its branches are made white.

 Jeremiah 24:2, 3, 5, 8
One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten, they were so bad. Then Yahweh said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad. Thus says Yahweh, the Elohim of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans. And as the bad figs which cannot be eaten, they are so bad surely thus says Yahweh so will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, his princes, the residue of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt.
 Yahshua Messiah continues the connection of Israel with a fig tree during the final stage of His ministry. Keep in mind that Yahshua Messiah had been ministering in Israel for about three years when He gave this parable.

14:1-5.
 The Lamb and the 144,000.

 The Fifth Vision in heaven is very brief. It is another Episode, telling us of those who will have come through the great Tribulation, and have been caught up to Heaven.

It is part of the larger Episode, and is parenthetical. The previous vision on Earth has told us of those who were slain because they refused to worship the Beast or receive his mark. Those who were for death, had been killed; and those who were to be kept alive, have been kept alive (13:10). The worshippers of the Beast received his mark; and those who refused to take the mark of the beast, BUT received the mark of the Lamb (Yahshua Messiah) and of His Father in their foreheads. This seems to point to the 144,000 sealed ones, of whose sealing we read in chapter 7. They had passed unharmed through the judgments of Yahweh, and through the persecutions of the Beast.

Remember as we start this Chapter that as Christians, we have that Seal of Yahweh within us (Rev. 9:4). So keep your utmost faith in Yahweh and know His Word. Don’t listen to man’s tradition, but Yahweh’s true Word! “Know His Word personally on the earth”

In our last study we began this Chapter 14 with John now in his 5TH Vision which takes place in heaven. There John sees the Lamb and the 144,000 with the Father’s Name written in their foreheads.
In the second verse we have the Heavenly voices and the singers. This again shows the Vision to be in Heaven.

So the lamb was standing on Mount Zion, we read.  And we also see that with him is the 144,000 having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.

2.        And I heard a voice from heaven = Showing that the scene is laid in heaven, but that John in the vision was on the earth.

As the voice of many waters = As the sound of the ocean, or of a mighty waterfall. That is, it was so loud that it could be heard from heaven to earth. . Other words “People” as in Rev. 1:15, 19:6

As the voice of a great thunder = As the loud sound of thunder.

And I heard the voice of harpers = In heaven:

Harping with their harps = Playing on their harps.

3.            sung = Greek, “sing.”

new song = (Rev. 5:9, 10). The song is that of victory after conflict with the dragon, beast, and false prophet: never sung before, for such a conflict had never been fought before; therefore new

four beasts = rather, as Greek, “four living creatures.”

144,000 = That only the 144,000 Jews could learn this song suggests that the particular praise expressed in this new song is specific to them. 

redeemed = literally, “purchased

Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’

In this week’s study, I begin in Chapter 14.

14:1-5.
 The Lamb and the 144,000.

In our text this morning the Lord reintroduces to us the most godly, Yahshua Messiah honoring the saints the world will ever know, 144,000 faithful victorious saints, saints who will endure unprecedented and unparalleled hardships as they live out their lives in the harshest living conditions that the world will ever see. We cannot even imagine how difficult life will be during the time of Daniel’s 70th week, the time of the tribulation judgments, yet their lives, as we will see, exceed the pain. Somehow their lives rise above the heartache. You never see them giving up. They are never beat down. They never allow Satan’s temptation as well as their own natural bent towards sin to defeat them.  And we want to ask the question: Well, how does this happen?  And we have a bit of an understanding here in this text. We have an understanding of how we, too, can live victorious lives.

 We are going to see, first of all, that they had a confident faith and we must have a confident faith; secondly, a celebratory song; thirdly, a committed life and, as we will see, their lives will be committed to sexual purity, to the Messiah, to truth and to holiness.

Now, before we examine this text, let’s be reminded afresh of who these saints are. You will recall back in Revelation chapter 7 and the first 8 verses we were introduced to them. They are “bond servants of Yahweh,” the text tells us, whom Yahweh has sealed on their foreheads. They are from every tribe of the sons of Israel. And then he offers an extensive list of those particular tribes. So these will be a select group of Jewish believers that Yahweh will mark out for his own protection and possession. This will be the purpose of the seal that he places upon them, 144,000 converted Jewish evangelists.

1.      And I looked = My attention was drawn to a new vision. The eye was turned away from the beast and his image to the heavenly world - the Mount Zion above.
his Father’s name = What is His Father’s name? Yah! Yahweh as having “Become” our “salvation”. He who “Is” and “Was” and “is to come”
Yahweh = 3068 “Yahweh from 1961 ‘self existent or eternal
Strongs #1961 “Hayah” (Haw-yaw) to exist, i.e. “Be or Become, Come to Pass

In this week’s study, I finish with Chapter 13, which pertains to the 2 beast syst

 13:1-18.   The Result of the "War in Heaven" as regards the Earth at large.

We have seen and considered the result of the "War in Heaven" as it concerns Israel. We have now to consider its further effect as it concerns the Earth at large.

This effect is twofold, inasmuch as it results in the rise of the Two Beasts: 

The one from the Sea (verses -1-10). 
 The other from the Earth (verses 11-18).

We now begin in this Chapter 13. I personally find this chapter 13 most interesting. I believe that this chapter 13 shows us what we can expect during this period of The Wrath of Satan. Matter of fact we will be creating another chart showing this Wrath of Satan. So follow along as we Unravel this chapter 13!!!!!

 We see in this Chapter 13, 2 different beast systems. We must ask ourselves who they are and what are they up to.

Also we read of a “mark”. We need to find out what is this “mark” and is this “mark” in effect today?

Now keep in mind that while we are studying about this 2 beast system within the 4th Vision of John, which is on this earth, that the 2 witnesses are preaching the Gospel of Yahshua Messiah and exposing this 2 beast system that is attacking the area of Jerusalem and the ripple effect throughout the world. (By the way, Do you see the Positive and Negative of this? 2 witnesses verse the 2 beast system?) Now these 2 witnesses, by their actions, aggravates Satan and Satan turns on the heat on those that hear what those 2 witnesses which are exposing Satan’s plan to destroy souls, 

Before I begin this study, I go into a rant about the new AI Jesus that was created. I share an article about Tucker Carlson who states ‘Pride’ is a ‘religious war’ that may bring same fate as Sodom and Gomorrah. I share an article how a panel of A-enabled humanoid robots that can control the world better then the UN. Also I expose the fact that on Disney+ they have come out with a movie where a teen girl has sex with Satan! 

16.       he = the second beast, NOT the first beast

                To receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads = The word here rendered “mark” - χάραγμα  charagma - occurs only in one place in the New Testament except in the Book of Revelation,  Acts 17:29, where it is rendered “graven.”

17.     might buy = Greek, “may be able to buy.”

Save = except

the mark, or the name = Greek, “the mark (namely), the name of the beast.” The mark may be, as in the case of the sealing of the saints in the forehead, not a visible mark, but symbolical of allegiance. 

18.          Wisdom = “sunesis” = it is a noun, meaning native insight, understanding, capacity to apprehend; used of reflective thought, while “Sophia” (wisdom) is used of productive thought.

Let him = in the Greek, “He that”

Understanding = “nous” mind

And the language here indicates that there is some evidence of special intelligence that Yahweh will give believers of that day. They will have wisdom and understanding.  “Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.” So this mysterious riddle will be deciphered by believers in that day as Yahweh gives them special insight.

In this Part 48 I continue our study in this Matthew 24 verse 32, Parable of the Fig Tree. But before I go there I go into “The Secret to Understanding Revelation”.

There is a key that unlocks the mystery of Revelation. In this lesson you will discover that secret. It’s not complicated. Actually, it’s quite simple. 

It has been theorized that Revelation was written in chronological order. This means that events will occur in the sequence they are written. Unfortunately, with this as a fundamental assumption it will be impossible to understand Revelation. This is because the chronological order theory is flawed. You are about to discover why.

We will discover the secret to understanding Revelation by going through one simple exercise. We will compare three key events in Revelation with each other — the 6th Seal, the 7th Trumpet and the 7th Vial. The 6th Seal is recorded in Chapter 6. The 7th Trumpet is in the 11th Chapter, and the 7th Vial is found in Chapter 16. We will discover that these three events are actually one and the same. The 6th Seal is the 7th Trumpet, and is the 7th Vial.

One event is recorded in Chapter 6. It is then recorded again in Chapter 11. It is recorded a third time in Chapter 16.

All of the things that John wrote in Revelation can be divided into three distinct categories. Revelation 1:19 tells us that these categories are “things which thou hast seen, and things which are, and things which shall be hereafter.” 

Revelation 4:1 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”

Let’s now take a look at several key passages in the Bible. We will do a careful comparison of three key events in Revelation — the 6th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7th Vial. The 6th Seal is recorded in Chapter 6. The 7th Trumpet is in the 11th Chapter, and the 7th Vial is found in the 16th chapter. What we will discover is that these three events are actually one and the same. The 6th Seal is the 7th Trumpet, and is the 7th Vial. We will also see that Matthew 24:29 and Ezekiel 38:18-22 are parallel accounts of the same.

As we read each scripture, it will become apparent that what is happening is the “Wrath of God.”

In our last study I closed out with the apostle John warning us of the spiritual seduction and blasphemous counterfeits of the many antichrists that will pave the way for the final antichrist that will occur in what he calls “the last hour,” 1 John 2:18.  Chapter 4 and verse 1 he warns us to test these false teachers who are influenced by demonic spirits. And in verse two of that chapter we see that that test must apply to their teaching regarding the Lord Yahshua Messiah.  He says:

1Jn 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Yahweh: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2  Hereby know ye the Spirit of Yahweh: Every spirit that confesseth that Yahshua Messiah is come in the flesh is of Yahweh:
1Jn 4:3  And every spirit that confesseth not that Yahshua Messiah is come in the flesh is not of Yahweh: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 

13.       great signs = i.e. miracles. Here is more information about why people will be so astonished and willing to worship Antichrist. They are witnessing miracles! People (including many professing Christians) shall be captivated by miracles, and those who care more about miracles than they do about sound doctrine shall be deceived.
so that = so great that.
maketh fire = Greek, “maketh even fire.” This is the very miracle, which the two witnesses perform, and which Elijah long ago had performed; this the beast from the bottomless pit, or the false prophet, mimics. 

So this will be his con. 

14.   deceiveth them that dwell on the earth = the earthly-minded, but not the elect. 
by the means of those miracles = rather as Greek, “on account of (because of; in consequence of) those miracles.
which he had power to do = Greek, “which were given him to do.”
in the sight of the beast = “before him” (verse 12).

15.       he = the second beast. Greek, “it was given to him.”
To give breath to it = (dounai pneuma autēi). Pneuma here has its original meaning of breath or wind like pneuma zōēs (breath of life) in Rev. 11:11.
speak = “False doctrine will give a spiritual, philosophical appearance to the foolish apotheosis of the creaturely personified by Antichrist”

NOW WE COME TO THE WRATH OF SATAN

 13:1-18.

Before I begin with this Religious Beast system, I would like to divide this part of scripture into three different compartments. We will look, first of all, at his character; secondly, his con; and, finally, his control. 

11.       beast = the beast system in verse one was a political beast whereas this beast system will be a religious one. John sees this second monster coming up out of the earth, a beast that has two horns like a lamb, and a voice like the voice of a dragon.

And he had two horns like a lamb = In some respects he resembled a lamb; that is, he seemed to be a mild, gentle, inoffensive animal.

And he spake as a dragon = The meaning here is, that he spoke in a harsh, haughty, proud, arrogant tone - as we should suppose a dragon would if he had the power of utterance.

Let’s look, secondly, at his con. 

12.       exerciseth = to make, bring about, effect; to do, execute, pratice, [to do judgment, i.e. to act as a judge

power = Greek, “authority.”  Now we see the connection between the first and second beast. The second beast speaks with the same authority as the first beast (and that authority was given to the first beast by Satan according to verse 2).

8.         And all who dwell on the earth = which is a phrase in Revelation that refers to unbelievers. 

shall worship = we can say those that don’t have that mark of Yahweh.

Book of life = The representation here is, that the Yahshua Messiah keeps a book or register, in which are recorded the names of all who shall obtain everlasting life. Read the followiong verses on this Book of Life, Rev. 21:27; Exod.  32:32; Isa. 4:3; Dan. 12:1; Luke 10:20; Phil. 4:3

Lamb = Yahshua Messiah. John 1:29 reads, ‘The next day John seeth Yahshua coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of Elohim, which taketh away the sin of the world’

Foundation of the world = “katabole of the kosmos” This expression makes reference to the ‘the disruption or ruin of the world’. This is in reference to Gen. 1 where we read of the overthrow of that first earth age to this present earth age.

9.         This phrase was often used by Yahshua Messiah to emphasize the importance of what he was about to say.

10.       He that leadeth into captivity = This is clearly intended to refer to the power or government which the meaning is, by the beast. The form of expression here in the Greek is special - “If anyone leadeth into captivity,”

Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints – He is telling the saints bluntly that these things will happen. This is a call for saints to understand what is taking place and to accept it.

These are tough verses, but it’s where the rubber meets the road for Christians in the end times.

In this week’s study, I continue in Chapter 13 verses 5-7.

NOW WE COME TO THE WRATH OF SATAN

 13:1-18. 
 The Result of the "War in Heaven" as regards the Earth at large.

We have seen and considered the result of the "War in Heaven" as it concerns Israel. We have now to consider its further effect as it concerns the Earth at large.

This effect is twofold, inasmuch as it results in the rise of the Two Beasts: 

The one from the Sea (verses -1-10). 
 The other from the Earth (verses 11-18).

We now begin in this Chapter 13. I personally find this chapter 13 most interesting. I believe that this chapter 13 shows us what we can expect during this period of The Wrath of Satan. Matter of fact we will be creating another chart showing this Wrath of Satan. So follow along as we Unravel this chapter 13!!!!!

 We see in this Chapter 13, 2 different beast systems. We must ask ourselves who they are and what are they up to.

Also we read of a “mark”. We need to find out what is this “mark” and is this “mark” in effect today?

Now keep in mind that while we are studying about this 2 beast system within the 4th Vision of John, which is on this earth, that the 2 witnesses are preaching the Gospel of Yahshua Messiah and exposing this 2 beast system that is attacking the area of Jerusalem and the ripple effect throughout the world. (By the way, Do you see the Positive and Negative of this? 2 witnesses verse the 2 beast system?) Now these 2 witnesses, by their actions, aggravates Satan and Satan turns on the heat on those that hear what those 2 witnesses which are exposing Satan’s plan to destroy souls, therefore the people that listen to the words and see the actions of the 2 witnesses honor and worship and realize where their salvation lies that leads them to eternal life comes from! Let me ask you something, have you ever considered why Satan and his evil co-horts place the 2 witnesses out on the streets? I believe that in Satan’s 1st attempt by having Yahshua Messiah killed and placed in a tomb, which lead to the disappearance of Yahshua Messiah, this caused Satan to place the 2 witnesses in the streets so the whole world could see the power of Satan and the people can watch to see their bodies rot on the streets! The problem is that those of us that have read the Book of Revelation know the outcome of the resurrection of the 2 witnesses and then the 3rd woe which leads to the 7th Trumpet.

5.         And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things = John does not say by whom this was given; but we may suppose that it was by the “dragon 

42 months = remember what we learned about porophecy with months? This is the same period that we meet with in chap. Rev. 11:2. 42 months = just as we read in Chapter 11:2. Note months. This is lunar of the moon!

6.         He opened his mouth in blasphemy = Three kinds of blasphemy are named: (1) against Yahweh; (2) against his tabernacle; (3) against those to whom Yahweh has opened his tabernacle
7.         And it was given unto him = By the same power that taught him to blaspheme Yahweh and his church.
To make war with the saints = This brief statement summarizes the terrors of the great tribulation during Antichrist’s 42-month reign.
And to overcome them = In those wars.
