In our reading of Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia by Kylie and Kendall Jenner, we quickly realize why celebrities shouldn't write YA dystopia. Though there's an attempt to be quirky and cool, it's mostly just confusing. We meet Livia, a rich heiress and orphan who most definitely isn't like other girls.

We finish Verity by Colleen Hoover. In this reading, Lowen confronts Jeremy about what she's discovered about Verity. The two of them confront Verity herself, ending up in some very random acts of violence. Luckily, this doesn't prevent them from being together forever! Girlboss, gatekeep, murder, I guess!

After discovering that Verity might have killed Harper, she has a few choice words to share with Verity, not to mention their shared tooth imprints on the headboard.

We read chapters 6 - 8 of Verity by Colleen Hoover. In this reading, Lowen continues to read about Verity and Jeremy, learning about their super thrilling love life and pregnancy experience. Things aren't going so great, but she's addicted to reading too much into the situation. Luckily, they go on a much-needed Target tampon run.

We begin our reading of Verity by Colleen Hoover, our second Colleen Hoover book. We're excited to explore this horror/mystery from the Hooves, though we're skeptical it will live up to the hype. As we read the first two chapters, most of our questions stem from the availability of public restrooms in NYC.
