Sometimes, an actor defines a generation...and sometimes that actor can redefine that expectation and then redefine that redefinition? is that a bunch of word salad? YUP! but we are getting after it anyway!

Leonardo Dicaprio is one of those actors...hes one of my faves, has done drama, comedy, action, horror all in a nuanced way that continues to make him a box office draw 30+ yrs into his career!

 you cant always judge someone who did one stupid thing as a teenager, then call him out 20 yrs later when he is a completely different person...theres nuance, theres intent, there is room for remorse and forgiveness...

BUT THEN there are those people who dont change, dont learn, dont grow...they are the same piece of shit at 40 as they were at 14. those are the people that deserve condemnation... 

just like that clown from Rick & Morty...he was showing who he was on a weekly basis, but maybe we refused to see how toxic the dude actually was cuz the jokes were funny...?

THE #metoo movement was so powerful and profound, it still resonates. the culture NEEDED to change

We conclude our 3pt series on Norwegian Black Metal with the stupidity of the Church burnings that became pandemic in the scene...but ultimately it was a bunch of posering teens trying to be seen as not a poser in the scene, and once arrests were made, shit stopped being polite and started getting real!

lets just say...these kids outgrew it pretty fast after that.
