The following episode includes a discussion of the violence endured by First Nations children in residential schools. This content is disturbing, so I encourage everyone to prepare themselves emotionally before proceeding. This week's episode will not be entertaining. It will not be fun. It will be painful. In honour of national indigenous peoples history month, and to honour the 215 children found buried next to a Kamloops residential school, we will discuss Canada's ugly and horribly unsettling past and present.
