In this episode we join Scott and Ann Webb in their beautiful home to have a fun conversation. We discuss their involvement in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and how they used to be members, but ultimately decided to leave the church when they started to feel like it was holding them back in certain aspects of their lives. They had some pretty big disagreements concerning their roles in the family and how Ann’s business and her focus on it were affecting their children. Eventually, Scott realized that his attitude toward their situation was damaging to his relationship with Ann and his children and things started to change.

“I didn’t leave the church because I wanted to try drugs and try all these crazy things, I just wanted to believe what I wanted to believe without being told what to believe. That’s what the biggest grateful thing for me is just ‘Oh I get to believe what I want and when I don’t like that any more, I can just go switch and try something else on, and move to the next one and no one’s there condemning me, or judging me, or telling me we don’t believe that.’ It’s been amazing.” 53:05
