If you’re married, you’ll love your spouse more and more when your identity is rooted in God’s love for you.  When we’re looking for our spouse to meet most our needs, then it’s not really love.  Then Perry admits that sometimes he wonders if what he believes is true.  It’s in moments like these that we need more than our experience and feelings to draw from for truth.  We need history and evidence.  We get an assist here from Dr. Andy Bannister author of The Atheist Who Didn’t Exist.  Next Shawna admits to her struggle with anxiety and how knowing her identity in Jesus brings comfort and courage!  Finally, a riff on 1 Peter 3:15:  “If someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.  And do it in a gentle and respectful way.”  Perry and Shawna share what that looks like for them.
