With the craziness of COVID-19, most everyone now has become a work from home employee. Working from home sounds awesome in theory, but if you aren't used to structuring your day, managing your time, and getting into a good routine, it can be a huge challenge. PLUS, we are trying to juggle so many things right now. Cooking, teaching our kids, getting our work done, cleaning, maintain relationships, and keeping up with our mental health to name a few. I wanted to share my best productivity hacks to help you get through this tough time as well as share some of my mom tips that are helping me keep a toddler happy and healthy during the workday.
I would love to have you in the Unshaken Facebook Group! Why? Because, first of all, its awesome, but secondly, I provide my group with tons of free training, community, and networking! Join us! : https://www.facebook.com/groups/unshakenpodcast/
Two areas I can always improve on are COMMUNICATION and LISTENING! I do not think any of us truly master either one in a lifetime. Both skills are needed in the workplace and in our personal lives. From learning how to communicate more efficiently with your boss, to active listening to your husband, our guest today can give us some tips on how to spiff up our skills! Bridget Boursiquot is LICSW with over 12 years in the field. She specializes in premarital counseling, unhealthy relationship patterns, difficult transitions, and anxiety/stress, and parenting concerns.
In this episode, she breaks down how we can better our relationships through active listening and positive communication. We dive into love languages and how those can be used to become a better partner to our spouse. Bridget knew she had a gift of helping people at a young age. She also knew she wanted to take that gift and make it into a business. We chat through how she was able to do that and how she has helped people from across the country through her practice.

WHOO HOO! RELAUNCH DAY IS HERE! And this chick couldn't be more excited! I took a month long break. It was good to step back, get my ducks in a row, be in a season of change and EMBRACE it! This episode gives you a look into the last month and what changed with the Unshaken Podcast. Same name- New content and direction!
Change is good! I start the show off with this well-known phrase because I truly believe in it. No intro or outro music today. Just me, my mic, and your ears! Wow. What a year of podcasting, creating community and serving that community has taught us. We are so thankful for the last 365 days. With that year under our belt, we have learned so much about ourselves and our community. Our mission is to continue to provide a platform for women where they can come to be inspired, motivated, faith fueled, and educated on topics they are interested in.
With that being said, next week will be our very first vacation! We are taking a week off to think about the direction of our show and how we can continue to live out our mission and passions. We are excited about this time to reflect and would encourage all of us to take days of rest when needed...then, you can come back stronger than ever! See you in March!
