It's tiiiiiiiiime!
RoShawn and I dive back into the Dresden Files along with the rest of the fandom as e tackle the latest book, Twelve Months! For those reading along I have shared the chapter breakdown, which of course will likely change at some point but for now that's what we're working with!
Thanks so much to you all for listening, and we will see you soon with a new episode!

It's time for us to return to the world of The Dresden Files, and RoShawn and I are easing back into the madness by discussing the novella which takes place between Battle Ground and Twelve Months (although to be honest, after reading Twelve Months it really seems to me this can only take place after that book for a variety of reasons).
We're so glad to be back, y'all, and we will see you next week with Part 2!

It's time for the very last episode of The Dresden Files and it really does end on a whimper. There are some great moments, and I see what they were trying to do in a couple places, but nothing works together and it's very clear that a lot of ideas weren't thought through. What a shame. The potential!
Oh well. Thanks for listening, and we will see you with whatever we cover next!

It's a bottle episode! This one is where Ancient Mai, Morgan, Murphy, and some redshirts all end up in Harry's apartment battling the literal forces of darkness. Turns out that they're ACTUALLY battling something else, and it's IN THE HOUSE WITH THEM. Oh no!
Thanks so much to you all for listening, and we will see you all soon with the FINAL episode!

This episode, all the potential goes down the drain as we get a muddled strange story about Harry's history with Justin, and Bob is stolen to bring Justin back to life.

This episode is a surprise winner for both me and RoShawn based solely on the performance of Claudia Black as Liz Fontaine. While the plot of this episode is a little whatever, she elevates the energy and makes me even like Harry a little more than usual! I wish they could have all been like this.
Thanks so much to you all for listening, and for your support, especially at this time of year when things are often very tight for so many of us. It's truly appreciated. We will see you next week!

This is the episode that was supposed to be first in the series, and it shows. There's so much good stuff here that we COULD have done something with! But instead, we got what we got. It's truly tragic.

So far this episode is one of the simpler and more straightforward plots that we've come across on this show, which is a good thing! However, there are still definitely problems with it and one of them is the picture I chose. I mean...look I'm not even going to say it.

This episode is one of the more confusing plots so far, and it seems like the more questions RoShawn and I ask, the more it all unravels. Thus, this is also one of the shortest podcasts we've ever recorded, and I think that's valid.
