After a long hiatus the original group was back in studio on our usual nonsense. We had to tap in to some of the culture's most relevant topics in the Unspokn way, raw and unfiltered

We were joined by our toxic homies Britt (@reddbonebrit) and Toola (@toolarae) discuss their navigation through dating during the holidays, first dates out of town, alternative sexual activities, and open marriages/relationships in wake of the Ayesha and Steph Curry news. With the new year approaching we spoke on what toxic traits we want to leave in 2021. Last but not least we also discussed with our guest if their social media perception impacts them from a dating standpoint and how men approach them.

After a long hiatus we were back in the studio this time joined by the homie @toolarae. We discussed the recent highlights of Black Cinema in the recent months such as BMF. Also with the release of Summer Walker’s album we discussed how drama sells more than ever and heightens anticipation these days. After Jada’s latest sting to Will and their marriage we discussed how hard it is to love someone who might be in love with a person from their past. Toolarae gave us a transparent view of getting over soul ties and losing a soulmate. We also got insight on the different roles men play on a woman’s dating roster; all lovers aren’t created the same. The dialogue was real and slight moments of toxicity was on display.

On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we were joined by the cast and crew of the Emmy-nominated Independent series “Washed”. We discussed creating with limited resources and making it despite hardships and life’s interruption. The cast also discussed making a dollar stretch and navigating the politics of creating and what’s next. From stories of spats with Amazon lol to the response and appreciation after their most recent Emmy nomination the conversation was fruitful and hilarious. The nomination alone deserves much praise!!!!

On this episode of @UnspoknKonversation we discuss the untimely passing of hip hop icon DMX. We reminisced on our first introduction to him as an artist and the impact of the loss to the culture. We also discuss the Deshaun Watson situation as our views are slowly changing and this might be a bigger issue than initially thought. We had to recap the versus battle Easter Sunday gave us which was a cultural celebration with the Isley Brothers vs Earth Wind and Fire showing how closely knit we are as a people and the power of music across generations. Lastly we touched on the Derek Chauvin case and spoke of the danger of potential acquittal and the fallout that might follow

On this episode of @unspoknkonversation we caught up to discuss the stimulated economy as we enter spring and summer vibes. In the wake of Coming to America 2 release we gave our opinions on the new sequel. Grammy’s and the lean towards Hip-Hop and black culture (a demographic they still can’t grasp or understand) was a topic we had to breakdown in wake of some surprising results. Last but not least with the Saweetie Quavo breakup up we talked about the struggle of dating or cultivating any relationship in the public eye and the potential inability to really move forward completely.
